I love cowboy boots. They are my favorite shoe of any to wear. I have a pair of red boots that I absolutely love.
How many pair of cowboy boots do you have? I have one pair of cowboy boots, and probably three of regular boots.

Pink and brown boot?????????????? I want to see a picture of them. Please....... That's the color of the next pair I get, pink and brown. Lucky you!!!!! What a nice honey.

Hi All,
Love my boots too! :) Discovered boots about three years ago. I have one pair for riding if I go on a trail ride or out to work with the horses. One pair for working and running around and my honey (husband) bought me pink and brown ones for Christmas!LOL. Love the boots. I'm a boot wearin' grandma and proud of it!

They are my most favorite footwear, too! I am most comfortable in my boots. When I do wear t-shoes, at the end of the day my feet hurt. Same with sandals, etc...

I've been wearing cowboy boots since I was two. And at that time they were all I had on!!! I wear them all the time and find them to be my favorite footwear. My children wear them too.

Marly, you were at Wall, SD on I-90. Everybody stops at Wall because of all the "signage" along the interstate.
Hopefully I'll still be here next time you come out (DH and I are selling our little piece of heaven to move back to MN or WI to be closer to all our kids/grandkids). But if I'm still here, we'll take you to other areas of the Black Hills that are just breathtaking and also to find some boots. It'll be a lot of fun. |

Hey Marly,
The Frye boots are comfortable. The pair I have the leather is definitely sturdy so in time they will break in more, but they do feel great.

Annie: When I was in SD, I remember a place called Walls or something like that, but there were a lot of nice boots there. When I do return, I will certainly let you know, so I'll know exactly where to find the really good boots. I'll not return to Louisiana without a pair of boots from SD.

Happy to hear that so many farm girls have been out to my beautiful Black Hills. There is so much to see and do out here and we have lots of places to find boots of all sorts. Was at the Stock Show last week in Rapid City and there were just tons of vendures with all sorts of beautiful boots and hats and purses and clothes, etc. Tons of fun!! Anyone else planning to come out here in the future, let me know and I'll show you even more places in the Hills to see off the beaten track. |

I have one pair of dressier, pointed toe boots and one pair of square-toe Ariats with a work sole. I love my Ariats. In fact, I wear them more than any other shoe, especially when I'm working outside. My dressier boots are prettier than they are comfortable, but I still like wearing them for short periods of time.
I have my eyes on a new pair. Just saving my pennies. Should be able to get them in a couple of weeks, though. :)

Ariats boots are SO COMFORTABLE!
I recently found a pair of Dan Post boots at the thrift for $5.00. I am just waiting for the cobbler to fix the heel :)
I also have a pair of Frye Engineer Boots (a Birthday gift from my honey), talk about a well-made boot!

4 pairs of cowboy boots and 3 pairs of dress boots for me! All of my cowboy boots are Ariat brand (one pair are pointy toe and the other 3 pair are Fatbabies with the rounded toe) I Looooove me some boots! lol |

I had to look online at these boots. Cute! I like the idea of slippers in a cowboy boot style. I am guessing they are super comfortable.

Hi All :) I am so excited. I just found a pair of adult sized cowboy boot slippers & on sale too ;) They are called Cowboy Kickers. I have looked for these for awhile & today I am one happy sister :)

Been to rushmore, crazy horse, wall drug, badlands national park (the correct way See previous post), keystone (LIW fan), devils tower, As far away as Belle Fursche (forgive my spelling). Oh it's so pretty out there. Would love to visit Desmet someday but that is in the eastern half. Maybe someday. Need to get my little man out there as well as my hubby.

Annie: My hubby and I went to see Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. How beautiful!!! The whole area was just breathtaking. Good to hear the town is growing so.
The only bad thing was the landing of the airplane. That was scary. LOL

Lorena, small world. If you ever get back out here to the Hills, let me know and we can show you around - there's so much more than just Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse to see and do.
Yes, Rapid City is a very nice town. It's an hours drive to get up there from where we live, so we plan major shopping once a month in town to make the trip worth it. The town is growing like a weed too - lots of new shopping, stores, resturants, etc. going up.
Of course we have the beautiful Black Hills to enjoy all year round. We are so lucky! |

Sorry, took me a while to get back here. Yep, those are Ariats. Love them and the fit. This is my first pair of boots so I can't really compare them to any of the others. I generally wear a 9 1/2 and these fit nicely at a 9 1/2. Maybe a bit on the loose side.
The bottom section is kind of a murky brown. The base color is the same brown, but it has a kind of second color on over the brown, not quite gray.
These are a shorter boot though, so can I still wear them skirts?
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.
