I had a wonderful time talking with my dad and visiting mom in the nursing home. I'm staying overnight at a hotel halfway back home. One thing I learned during the trip is that you can't listen to an audio book in a rest stop restroom (flushing and hand dryers).

Got back safely, dogs and cat are happy, sweetie said they were at the end of their rope. Heaven help him if I die suddenly!

Chocolates are the right answer!
This little nose peeking out of birdhouse belongs to a flying squirrel. A pair showed up this summer. I have named the pair, Salem and Sassafras. I'm waiting for appt with specialist about chronic muscle spasms in my right shoulder. This old and not healing business is well, OLD ha ha

6 weeks of PT, if I can handle. Dr said possibly rotator cuff injury/tear. But other muscles could be torn. He said insurance wants PT before an MRI. Dr said not to push thru PT if pain persists or gets worse.
I'm waiting to hear if my insurance will cover PT. I am in A LOT of pain, want answers and relief.
Anyone have an injury( not torn cuff) that just wouldn't heal?

I have been in TX for the last 2 weeks with my daughter. She was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma and was undergoing treatment for it. I was with her for the last 2 rounds. She's a fighter, but please keep her in your prayers. Her name is Marta. It is hard for her to be ill...she just wants to go all the time. She is unable to do so, and that has been the hardest for her. She has some scans coming up, after which they will decide if she needs more rounds of treatment.

Prayers for Tara and Marta. I'm still going slow but steady on healing sciatica. It has been bad for 6 yrs. I know it will take a long time but I feel that it's is possible. Insurance will only cover for a short time so...but I am doing exercises as well. I just pray for strength to do it each day. I do as much as I can to keep moving.

Nancy -- Good thoughts for Tara and your family.
Tara Lovecatsandsunshine -- (trying to keep our Taras separate) -- I had a back injury 19 years ago that never healed. It changed my life in a major way for the worse. Some things can't be helped. and you just have to live with it. I hope they can help yours.
