Bonnie, there is a male quilter on a sewing forum that I belong to, and thanks for the compliment.

Oh Autumn, a surprize huh, just tease me.
Yes maam, I am a quilter and have done not a lot on quilts since playing with minis and aprons, having way tooo much fun.
Hey did you see the quilt that was a background for Jo's from Alaska,s aprons I think. Shoot I have no idea where that was or how far back it was. It was the coolest pattern. Simple but cool.
Yep, aren't those grands just grand. Yep, they loved their aprons, doing them a bunch of different ones for Christmas. That will be fun. They also want bags to put their little yoyo sewing supplies. LOL, it is cause I have one, that and need to make them little pin cushions. Hey ya gots to do what ya gots to do.
Sleep should be what I am doing.
Night ladies.
Carol Sue

Enjoying life.

Yes, but have they sewn and posted pics of aprons??
If they do, then we'll be overjoyed to open up the Fraternity Chapter of the Apron Sorority.

ROFL!

I'm missing Elizabeth's fabric shots~she's busy Renfesting.

I need to do laundry first, b/4 any sewing~spent yesterday cleaning out part of a barn that
had been infested with mice~yes, wore a respirator, but if I don't post for a week,
you know I've got hantavirus.

Arent they!
I love em, found them a while back, I spent hours online looking for aprons...vintage, or different in anyway and saved the pictures to go back and look at for inspiration and to try and copy...even the clothing the company sell is awesome...way way fun...

Check out these 2 pages from the Smithsonian.
Shows people in native dress and their sewing machines.
You can use them as "models" for your native dress aprons.

Hello again, all. Back from NYC.....had a blast. Spent Friday and Saturday walking the city checking out fabric shops and trim shops.....OMG!!!!! You all would have been in heaven. Found some yummy fabric and met up with Sewgirlie, Sheryl-lyn, on Saturday to go to a quilt shop and out for lunch...we had a blast. It is great fun to finally meet up with gals you have gotten to know on line....that is why I am so excited to put together out Apronstock next June....it should be just the best time ever!

Your aprons have been lovely over the past few days.....great to see that some new faces are joining us.

Mima....so glad to have you join us!....you will be hopelessy addicted very soon...just wait and see.

Well, gotta walk my girls and get the laundry started....so glad to be back...missed you all!

Naomi, I found a site. This person makes and sells unusual aprons. Click on past designs.

I am so glad to be back home too! It was the best time in NYC, especially meeting Bev at the fabric shop! Being in a fabric store can be very dangerous while at the same time being the most fun on the planet. Being in a fabric shop with another fabriholic??? Awesome and inspirational!

You have been so busy on this thread during the weekend. Your aprons are all so wonderful and those grandkids!! Love em!

Naomi, I couldn't believe how much this person got for the aprons, and especially the apron kits.
