so this is gonna sound terrible..on the verge of treason..............
I'm not feeling motivated to do ANYTHING right now....I need motivation to finish the 1/2 dozen projects I need to get done before I can start anymore..my skirt, and those 3-4 bags for dad....aaaaah......I'm bored.....

hmmm...interesting...so maybe my motivation ran off when my headache came on...but its gone now...so....why hasnt it come back?...ooooh well...I expect I'll become motivated in about 2 1/2 hours...at midnight..as usual...hhahaha...

naw..i think I'll see waht I can use to finish off my skirt....it needs a ruffle to make it longer...its to short for my comfort..sure, i've got great legs...but i dont like to show my ugly knees and thighs off while sitting..or at all...haha

OK OK - ya'll are movin so fast I cant keep up!!
I found the name(I think) of the kind of apron pattern I'm looking for- at least it's similar-its called the Dorcas Apron- it was on a Plain dressing (like Mannonite,Amish) site.
Anybody know what it is or have a similar pattern?

You are too funny. I used to have a sewing room, but all my stuff has to be moved out to make room for a bedroom for my youngest son (18 yr. old). Dh wants to have a new sewing room for me, which means in about 10 years. sigh......

hahahahahaha...oh man...das funny..so I was trying to think of a way to put a ruffle on the skirt I am working on..i didnt have anything in my stash that matched..then I remembered the peachy dress that has sat in my closet for...5-7 years(can you tell i dislike wearing dresses?haha)...i pull it out....so weird..it is the EXACT color..I check fiber content...EXACT same stuff in the exact same amounts..linen/rayon....whoa...thats just weird...ok...going to go work on it now...haha....

Naomi, you are young... remember, no mini skirts after 35! Have a little fun! You will have a life time to cover the parts that dont hold up.
When I was 17, I wore micro mini's and combat boots. I felt as long as your thighs didnt touch... how short was fair game!
Infact while I was in my 20's I had the skirts cut for my suits about 8" above my knees, and I worked for the symphony.
You are young...
