Bev. I use plastic bobbins, and yes, I checked the thread to make sure it was tight. I have 2 yrs. free service, and that expires on Sept. 10th, so it is best to have it serviced before the warranty service runs out.

Oh hey I just saw the coffe lady...lol
My dd got a tea towel with that on from one of her friends on an outing they had one day. She came home and sewed it up into an apron.
It's quite a conversation piece.

My hubby hopes I do well enough that he can retire....LOL!!!! Right now I am way in the hole.....fabric hole that is. Ahhh, but what a lovely place to be. Thanks for asking.

Bev: Who would be able to resist your aprons? I think a restaurant using them would be the ultimate in style! I am not kidding. You will sell!!

OMG how cute is that pickle faced baby!! I love her. Your kids are too cute, Jess!

Wow Bev...a restaurant is using them is that right? That's fantastic. Will be hoping it all goes well and they decide too. My husband could never retire on what I sew. I don't get a lot of time to do it. He enjoys seeing my projects when they are done. He thinks it great that there are women who still love to be creative.

Jess,
What a cutie! She looks so sweet in that apron.

naomi, that's a cool apron

we just about need an apron chatroom, don't cha think? ;-)

Here's the one for today. The neckline area needs some work I think...I'll contemplate what to do to it. A tip of the hat to Aunt George who inspired the embellishment around the bib area...
