LOL!!Let them eat cake!!!

Wecome Karin!! You'll enjoy it here, I promise! Bev is a fab "apronista"~there was a time last year that we were being treated to a new one almost every day!! And not the simple kind either~complete with bias binding & ruffles.

Hubby and I drove up to the mountains today to where we keep our "summer camper".
Couldn't believe how high the snow was piled up!
here's a slideshow of pics:

Inside our "cabin" would be the camper~LOL.
The main house belongs to the elderly couple that owns the land. We cut wood for them during the summer and fall and they let us park our camper there. ;)

i love willy wonka

2 yrs ago we had this horrible bug at my house, everyone got it, all at the same time, and it lasted for 10 days..i swear with in 24 hours we all had it..you were woozy and thirsty and tired and vomitty..so much so that you could hardly climb the steps without taken a break, even the kids..there are only 17 steps. And 1/2 way through it this awful diarrhea came..made what we just had seem like a walk in the park...any how..we dont have tv, so as well, we dont have cable..or anything. at the time we did not have my husbands laptop that we can watch movies on either. so my sister brought over this like tiny tv with a dvd player in the bottom of it. and she only brought 1 movie..willy wonka. so al the kids were ill and glued to willy wonka..not what i would have chosen, but really it could have been anything. and since we dont have tv, it could have been an infommercial about selling realestate, and the kids would have loved it just the same. any way..i havent seen willy wonka since then, but i loved it..it was so funny to me as I was so ill I could barely sit up...and the kids were just miserable..oh and did I mention JOhn did not get it until the last day we all had it..so it was really fun to take care of him after everyone else was well. some how he always is the last one to get the bad ones.

Kathie, I was born and raised in Minnesota, so cold and snow is no thang.
I don't mind it as long as I can go warm up by a fire somewheres. We drove up to
deliver some things~cat food for the barn cats and just visit with the couple that lives there.
Hubby has known them for 35 yrs. I gave Edie a pair of mittens that I'd made~she thought
they were so neat~I'll have to make her more. I'm so hooked on making them now~can't wait to go to Joann's on Friday for more polar fleece on clearance.

Bonne,
You are such a polar fleece addict. Hmmmm that snow looks awful darn familiar, ours is not that high here thankfully but it is in Couer dAlene, 45 minutes from us.

Karin, wonderful to see you here.

Ahhh Jess, if you just get it over with it will be done. Then you seal the doors shut!!!!!!

Kathie, time to send you the migraine smasher fairies to get rid of that darn sucker!!!!!

Off to bed for me, see ya tomorrow......

Bonne, I'm from the frozen north as well, so when locals round here say it's been frigid lately, I always say, "it's NEVER frigid here."

That cake is amazing!

I never make quilts purposely~they just kinda happen when my scrap bin is too full.
I still need to tie this one~it's fairly small~"couch throw sized"
Stitched on one of my treadles while enjoying the heat of the woodburning stove~
