Autumn,
Glad you liked them. Want to dye somemore this summer. EAiser to do some of it outside because of small space inside.

Bonne, great scrap quilt girl.

Does anyone have a cobbler apron pattern and would you be willing to share. Need one. Thanks girls.

Lovely patchwork Bonne and using up your scrap. What a thrifty farmgirl! LOL I guess that is why we keep the scraps there is always a purpose for them.

I guess I could and then call it "my work-out"!
My daughter is a physical fittness/personal trainer....she is always giving me a rash about not having a set exercise routine....I keep telling her, "Cat Litter Box Cleaning" is a work out! I can hold my nose, scoop & make it to the back door trash can in 60 sec flat!!!!! lol!
What's that old saying?... oh yea!
"I'm in good shape,,,,for the shape I am in" hahaha!

whew! my gosh ladies y'all have been talkative today!
Jess, great cake...wish I could make one like it...
Bonne, great quilt, I'm working on one for my grandparents 50th! blue and yellow...11 rows out of 16 sewn up, getting there...

um...didnt sew today...but helped dad build my chicken coop..its almost done! just needs the nesting box, front door, roof, and a few other small parts, latches, chain for the nesting box door(it flips down, but we don't want it to flip down all the way, the front door will be the same) He is kind of designing it as we go..but its turning out great! oh, and it needs legs....haha

I think I'm just about all caught up...off to the felt pin thread, and to check for new fun threads!

I like the quilt. Perfect for scraps. That's the way I like to make them. I still haven't made anything with the winter blocks or the signature blocks. I could always use more pillows and I could make them reversable.
I have to tell you it is NEGATIVE 4 degrees farenheit....yes, 4 below.

We have a nice cozy warm home so thank God for that.
I have lived here for 13 years and first time I saw it this cold.
Of course moved here from Alaska....this wouldn't be too bad there...but now I can complain, can't I? Schools delayed an hour and half. Also icy out...and I need to get to the bank!

Thanks gals! The "black" is actually denim with embroidered flowers. This is how quilts originated right? Using up scraps? Now it's buying scraps (fat qtrs) to make quilts! ROFL!!
I'm no quilter though, just can't stand to toss out anything I can cut into 5x5 or 6x6 squares. I do it with my polar fleece as well.
It's Jess's doing that I'm sewing on a treadle.

YAYYYY!!!! For a NO MIGRAINE DAY!

Oh, I hate you! You've got the kind of grey that comes in in strips, so it looks "planned". Plus it isn't obvious with your ash blonde hair color.
Mine's just sprinkled all over so have to give the whole head a dye job.
