Hey y'all,

Bonne...yes my silver streaks are cooperating..LOL It really looks cool though with some blonde streaks mixed in..everyone always says, "We can't cover that grey"...they look at me like I'm from Mars when I tell them I don't want my "silver" covered up..just want to contrast it with a little blonde.. Your red hair is awesome..I read that you use the Henna on it?

Thanks, Jess! I'm trying to lose more weight. I was always a size 5 until I hit 40 years old and my metabolism slowed down and my eating continued. I'm back in a size 10 right now and pushing for a size 8 by my birthday in July.

Yay for you Steph!!! Great picture...and now we have a face for the name. Somehow it makes chatting seem more like visiting with old friends when you have a face to connect with a name!! At least that's how I see it. But anyways....thank you , thank you , thank you!!!! Cool.

PS...beautiful hair!

Well there you are,Stephanie!!! Lovely picture and I surely dont see any stress in that lovely face!
Dont talk to me about a size 8!! I am stuck in a 12 working on a 10 in time for the wedding- which speaking of the wedding- I have been flower, embellishment, ribbon and other msc shopping ALL DAY LONG!
The dress is ready for the final embellishing. It will be a day or two before I can even think of doing it. My feet are weary!!!

Blessings,
Autumn

Autumn, you are doing a fabulous job on this wedding! You will be beautiful no matter what size you are....but I do know how you feel

I decided to quit stressing over weather I have to move again..still don't know what's going on and have decided to put it aside until someone tells what my options are. And besides it was really driving me crazy!!...and I'm crazy enough as it is..LOL

Great picture, Stephanie! Love that hair!

I posted a picture of the quilt some of us worked on in another swap. It is on my blog, along with my current Halloween towel and Valentines Cards! With the drama club after school and union meetings all the time, I am not able to keep up with you guys lately! Hope you are all doing well!

Sheryl-lyn, I admire anyone who can make quilts. The one that I am making for the newest member of the family is very time consuming, especially when there isn't much time to work on it.
The quilt is awesome by the way.

Thanks for the compliments! I always get so nervous when I am doing a project that is going to someone else, so I took my time with the quilting. The time issue is such a factor for me these days too. Work has me so busy that I rarely have time for my projects!

I am working on the second row of squares, but it is put on hold once again. I received an apron order, but couldn't find the finished apron, so you guessed it, I have to make one. Need to send the apron out tomorrow. Going to see my mom tomorrow too.

Sheryl-lyn _ I was wondering where you were. I check in on your blog pretty regular and really enjoy it. Still can't figure out how you work full time and have time for ANYTHING else!!

I made 11 bouteniers tonight- pretty easy.
I've never worked with flowers before and I was surprised it went so well.
I'll get a picture on my blog a little later.
Ya'll keep telling me I'mm doing good- it keeps me going!!!!
Thanks!!

Blessings,
Autumn

Hey Carrie, that's pretty cool..I'd like to see a picture of your friend. When I was about 17 and living on the Gulf Coast there was a girl the same age as me that could have passed as my twin. She lived in the next town over from me.

Steph, girlfriend great picture of you. It is fun to hae a face to a name. I am so grateful for each of you.

Oh man you girls are talking about sizes I have never seen, I am in an 18 and having a cow over it. Not able to do the exercise thing yet, but getting there. See I shouldn't have bragged about doing better......darn it......having a darn it tough time. Overdoing means it over does my whoe system. I don't think I really realized that until now. So rethinking things again. Will continue to keep learning. I appreciate everyone of yours encouragemnt and laughter. You girls are the best!!!!!!!!!!
Did a wee bit of sewing with that crazy sating binding. But darn even with a wrinkle or two it is cute. LOL

Carol Sue..you are a brave woman tackling satin binding..I know I'd have more than a few wrinkles in it..LOL I guess the one thing that we have to do when things go wrong is to find a comfort zone and hang on to it! You have a good support system here with all these ladies and you are loved

One moment at a time makes everything easier!!

Sheryl-lyn...love the quilt....finally, you surface...you have been one busy gal....quilts, cards, stitching....yee gads, girl....do you ever sleep???

Autumn...You are an inspiration to me for wedding planning. Cannot wait to see the finished dress!

So, the way I see it is this.....dress size, like age, is merely a number and not a reflection of anything remotely having to do with who a person really is.

And Steph, you are right....we LOVE Carol Sue!!!

I just realized as I read through the posts that I have not been on here much! :( That stinks, but pretty soon it will be spring and I will be free from some of my obligations (8th grade trip, drama club, tutoring a sick student) and I will be able to hang out here more. Glad you guys like the quilt. When you ask how I find the time, the truth is that I teach all day, so that is sort of my social life! Once I get home, I am done talking and do quiet things like sewing and reading. I don't go out much during the school year, so I am at the machine. Sleep? Huh?
