stephanie believe me you are sledding on all fours here right now it is crazy out there and the amount of people that had to pick up patterns today was crazy.

Too funny I sent out a brown dog and a black and 2 really white ones came in.

Steph- the "loft look" is cool...what color are you going to paint it all? Sorry your move date got bumped....

Carol Sue and Teresa, bummer about the leaks and roof shoveling....

Nay, we are still aliving and kicking, and drooling over your t-shirt weather.....grin

And yes Lanna, you heard it right for us here, it is over 60 inches of snow in December, nuts I tell ya.

I have a wooden sled that someday I want to use in my kitchen. A fellow quilter friend, hung her's from the ceiling and used it at the right height for a pots and pans holder and then put some of her fun knick knacks on the level part. It looks so great!!!!!

Steph, bummer that it got moved but yeah that you get to have Thomas back again.

What going out for apron patterns, lol, nope I don't think so although I do have the one that Linda told us about for Christmas ornaments. I fell in love with it, at least I think it was Linda.

ahh no biggy but i cant believe that we have got around 60inches of snow in just two weeks. gonna go sledding with the kids tommorrow and build a snow fort. we dont use wooden sleighs, innertubes all the way cause you dont sink into the snow that way and can really get going. the kids have built a slide in the snow pile that came off of our roof. i gave them plastic bags to sit on to get more speed(i am such an encourager of fun)

i am gonna go take a shower now to help my sore muscles from shoveling where we park the car. just a little achey(sp). taking a tylenol too, so i can stand up and do the dishes.

Carol Sue, the sled suspended for pots and pans...omg!!! What a great idea....thank you very much, believe I'll do that..

Yeah, 60 inches of snow in one month...good grief!

Monica, which cupboard is he gonna make? Hope this means you are feeling better since you are starting to clean?

Naomi, have no idea what color or what I'm doing..just know the ugliness is coming down then I'll figure it out.

Carrie, well I guess everyone figured it was now or never to get patterns...

Steph, Yes I am feeling better!! I took a good nap this afternoon and I still am coughing my head off, but other than that I feel well enough to get busy cleaning!! The cupboard is the one with all the yarn in it and it has all of the compartments with the hinged doors that open down! I don't know if I will get him to make one soon, but I could organize all of my fiber and fabric in it so I think I am going to keep nudging!!!

Steph- you'll just have to hang lots of pretties from the ceiling...but I'll bet removing that ceiling will open it up a bunch!...oooh...what about ceiling drapes...you know, the white sheer fabric...like this... http://www.flickr.com/photos/timcaynes/464939063/ I've seen much better examples...
but in white, with all the windows, I'd bet it would look really cool, if your ceiling was high enough once you removed the uuuugly panels....

Jess, have you been trying to contact Gloria through the forum? I likely have her phone number...know I do, would you like it? From what I saw, she does beautiful work.
Took the grandson back to his temporary home this afternoon. The other guys were thrilled to see a PT Cruiser full of groceries plus a heater and air beds that won't be flat by morning. I made about 18 small pizzas, 6 dozen choc chip cookies, two loaves of french toast bagged and frozen. He/they won't be going hungry if I can help it. Couple gallons of milk, couple cases of sodas, the necessary toilet paper, coffee, sugar and creamer. Tortillas and 5# shredded cheese, bread, Peanut Butter and Jelly. I took him to Sams and let him put whatever he wanted in the basket. Too bad it's 100 miles away, but that will feed them for a few days for sure. I didn't have a grandma to spoil me, so have to make up for it with my only grandchild, even if he is 18 now.
