Yeah Baby!!! That's what I'm talking about!!!
Bev, go a little shorter on the next one. Keep this one as is as you want variety,
but go up a bit to something more like this length for the next one~you've got great legs girl!!
Then mid-knee, then above knee~have a wardrobe!

Bev, What a beautiful dress, and it looks lovely on you.

Autumn, a belated Happy Birthday to you!

Ronna, now I'm going to have to backtrack a bit and write down your pizza dough recipe. I have been very lazy about baking lately, and I do enjoy it, and it is always the best to get a recipe from a real cook.

The sun is out, my phones are working, I went around the house pulling cords, putting them back in, swearing aat them and all of a sudden they are working. Of course they did that for a little bit yesterday and then pooped out on me, but they are fine this morning. Haven;t tried my car yet, but I'm sendiing positive thoughts to the driveway...

My project today is going to be trying to load a few things on my etsy site. So I better go drink another cup of joe....

Pizza dough~I make it almost every week in my bread machine, set it on "dough".
Yeah, I'm lazy~I make the machine work for me. Where's Ronna's recipe?
Here's mine:
1 1/2 c. warm water
2 tbsp oil
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp salt
2 T. sugar
1 pkg dry yeast (or about 2 1/2 tsp)
set the machine for "dough"
and go do something else for about an hour and a half

Bonne~ I was looking for Ronna's recipe, too. It's on page 645. I like the idea of putting it in the bread machine.

Karin~Glad to hear you got those phone wires back in shape.

Bonne...thanks for the recipe! I'm all with letting the bread machine do the work!

Woooohooo Ruth...can't wait til my hats are finished!

Lanna...give it time...the fabric stash just sort of happens over the years...all of a sudden one day you have no idea how you got so much fabric!!

Now, I need to start using some of mine...I see more dresses! Shorter, Bonne? We'll see......

Steph, you have Verizon cell phones and then can get broadband for your laptop?
That's what I need to find out about. I've got a Verizon plan for my cell phone and when I get a laptop want
to do away with my landline which is currently supplying my DSL for my desktop. Matter of time before this computer craps.

What's everyone sewing today? I've got housework to catch up on before I can sew~I can't sew when the rest of the place looks like chaos.....or can I? lol Can't wait until summer when I can haul a treadle outside!! Did I tell you I have treadles parked around the state? Yes! One in my son's sunporch in Northern Colorado, one in my hubs's workshop, one on my front porch.....geez, is that all I've got? Who doesn't have a treadle yet? What's your excuse, and why aren't you checking in on Craiglist every single morning until you do!!??

Didn't say I'd pay $40 for it~lol But you don't come across as many in FL. as here and midwest.
Naomi, when you have to move a whole household, another sewing machine won't make a difference.

Oh, count on buying a belt anyway for whatever treadle you get~the leather disintegrates fast~those are cheap.
I got a Sphinx for $40, sanded the cabinet top and it's gorgeous now.

Bonne~That is a gorgeous treadle. I don't have one. I have seen a couple but don't know which ones are good. I wouldn't have a clue where to begin.

Naomi~I got the stuffies today. They are so precious. I love them. Each year, around November, we pack shoeboxes for kids around the world with different things they need. It's called Operation Christmas Child. I usually buy different things throughout the year to fill the shoeboxes.

We just got back from the homeschool gym class. It is so cold today I didn't even feel like leaving the house. The woodstove is going and I'm sitting here with my oversized sweater. Now to make either some coffee or tea~maybe a chai latte. Yum!

OMG Jess!! Everytime I look at one I want it but don't even know if it's a good one. Will it work, etc. What would be the best tip you could give me in finding one?

And Jess has the marvelous excuse that she's buying them for her girls........MMWWWAAAGGHHHH!!!!!
Treadles~sew through tough things~keep your legs toned~easy to fix~get thee hence to Craigslist, Ruthie, and type in "sewing machine" for your region. Look at all the entries as people don't know how to spell treadle right~you'll see "pedal, treddle, tredal, peddle"....so just look up "sewing machine". Look at CS every morning for new entries.
