http://providence.craigslist.org/fuo/984136651.html This is the only one of the bunch that is a treadle~the others are electrified.
It's an oldie and still had the coffin top cover, that's impressive, as is having it's attachments. I wouldn't term "excellent" to the condition though.
Otherwise,
it's a 127/27 model and those use a shuttle bobbin. Ideally, a 66 or 15 uses bobbins like modern day Singers and you can get those bobbins at Joann's. This
you have to order bobbins for (stitches- in- time on Ebay) and don't lose the shuttle, they don't make them anymore
and you can only search for used ones. I personally put a $40 limit on Singers like this. There's no reason why you can't get a treadle for that. Jess has found them for as low as $10~people don't know what to do with them! Keep looking~make them a lowball offer!

Gals, I have some of the fabrics that I am selling shown on my picturetrail. All of them except the Monopoly prints and the Horse flannel are for sale. I have the Monopoly prints and the fleece on eBay right now.

http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/21369726

I know that I told Naomi, that I would post it here first. I will have more, but not sure when. I just found out that dear mil will be coming to town.

I would love to snag one or two of those machines but no money right now. Hubby had to have the crown on his tooth redone, came off Sunday on the way to the anniversary party and I had to order some school books for the kids. No money left until next month. I will keep looking and maybe they'll still be there. IDK but I hope so.

I guess I'm not getting a treadle just now. My daughter pointed out to me that I have two
Berninas and she and I both have Featherweights, and there is no room for anything else in this house. 'Ah well, I will just admire all the ones you lucky women have.

I now have ice on the inside of my bedroom windows, last night I really layered up the quilts, until they felt like a lead blanket and then two cats settled in, kind of like two cannonballs to keep everything in place.

However, the sun is out, my phone works, so does my car, and that is wonderful...

Jess, it is neat fabric. I have more than I need, so that is why it is on eBay. It was expensive fabric to begin with.

Sharon- nice fabrics...

Teresa...whew...gal...I have so much going on this year, I'd probably never finish all that...I've got school, cleaning out, packing, moving, traveling, fixing up, cleaning up, pets, family, etc...you'd probably not get anything until...gosh..this time next year, what with everything I've got going on...this is gonna be a very crazy year for me...and right now, I'm not even sure how to actually make what you want...corset? never ever ever made one...bunched up skirt...um...same...never ever ever made one.....

Now, if you were to make it yourself...Joanns has Butterick patterns on sale until tomorrow for $2...and they have some really nice corset and historical patterns...they also have boning, which I've never even seen at my other craft stores...

I thought that I would post some of the fabrics in my stash that I use for custom aprons. I was busy taking pictures, but still do not have all the fabrics that I use up yet.

Karin, that's 4 sewing machines total. 4! puny!
I have a serger, a singer rocketeer (503 special), 3 treadles, and 4 other vintage machines(morse, electro-grand,singer, penncrest). That's 9 machines. The sq footage of our house is about 900 sq ft. Jess has even more machines than me and 9 other people living in her house. If you really WANT a treadle, you will find room even if it's in the middle of the living room~LOL That's the beauty of treadles, they fold up and make a table.
Ruth, you'll find yours. Pay off the dentist and then start putting away for your treadle~it'll come.

What? Karin, especially, NEEDS a treadle. She's a fabric artist and it goes with her personality. It's a perfect match.

I will definitely be saving up for my treadle.

Jess~I like your mantra. Do you have pics of your house on your blog? It's an old farmhouse, right?

I have about 1100 sq. feet in our home. It is really poorly divided and we don't know how to refigure it and we don't have the money right now. We also live close to the airport and for years they have been saying they were going to buy out our whole neighborhood. We don't really want to fix it up if they are going to tear it down. All I know is that when I have the money a treadle is coming home with me and then I will find a place for it.

Karin~Run and get that treadle. I'm sure you can find a spot for it. I think you would love it.

cant find any
i will have to look deeper into my comp to find some

1874 farmhouse, not always taken care of, but we are trying our best when there is extra time and $ to get it all back together. We aren't like Bev who tackles projects full on and has em complete in a matter of months, we drag it out slowly but surely.

Oh! Jess~that sounds like a great house. When we first moved in here we tackled projects head on and worked nonstop for 8 weeks while we both worked full time and had two little kids. It was crazy!!! The house was built in 1950 and there hadn't been anything done to it since then. It needed some big help!! Now it looks much better and there are still things we would like to do but can't right now. I wish the airport would just decide if they were going to take it or let us keep it. I always tell my husband I don't want to do anything else because the minute we're done, we'll get the letter from the airport authority saying they're taking it. Then I'll be on tv~tied to my house and not giving it up. LOL
