I do tend to do my projects all production line style. Those minis are just so darn small and my hands hate that. I will start them this weekend and see how it goes.

Bonne, I do remember that fun fall swap we did. Maybe we should do that again for the next fall. I would be willing to do that. I'll have a few cookies now though.

Carrie: I will probably do the apron swap. I'll go take a look at it now.

Jess: Ouch again! That must still hurt. Hubby kissabooboo

Carrie: It does only take me a few hours to make an apron, so I am not going to keep away from something that fun because I am overbooked. I'll probably need the sewing time to stay sane!! LOL

Well- for better or worse here's that dress!!!!
That's some BAD HAIR too!! too long in the wind today!!!
It's a stretch gauze with some vintage trim- really- it came out of my friends attic 15 yrs ago!She said it was from when she was a teenager. She was using it on some "bell bottoms".
She's 60 now!!!!!!!!
The fabric is off the dollar table-probably 5 yrs old and not good quality-BUT I had enough and it did jumpstart me!
Bonne- Thank you for the kick in the rear to find a pattern and make the thing!!!!
Girls- thanks so much for your encouragement-
I promise to get better and stop all the whining!!!!!!

Blessings,
Autumn

I will have to catch up on the last 3 pages tomorrow, but I just wanted to say Hi before hubby goes to bed and I have to get off the computer!

It has been one of those days of trying to clean up! I think next Christmas I am going to stand at the front door with a shot gun for anyone who dares to bring toys!!! I don't mean to sound bad about it, it's just that my kids ended up getting so much stuff that I am still trying to figure out what to get rid of and how to organize the rest! I got the front room cleaned up except for my sewing area, where once again I can't find my sewing table!! I need to get busy because I have to get my mini's done!!!

Autumn, Hang in there! I will keep you in my prayers. You have been through a lot recently so give yourself permission to not be on top of everything right now! The dress looks great!

Jess, I hope everything works out with the condo! I am so sorry to hear about the flooding! Glad your hubby is back home! I will keep you in my prayers also!

Okay Bonne, I signed up for the apron swap!

Well I am off to get my coffee, that I just warmed up again for the second time after forgetting I was warming it up the first time and sat in the microwave till it was cold again! Oh, what a day! Off to play with some wool and relax!

Good night, ladies!

I posted the baby quilt on my blog-ya'll take a look when you get a chance. Photobucket is so slow sometimes!!!!

Bonne- if I do the apron swap AND the block swap I will never get to the spinning!!! I'm still determined to get the stuff and give it a try- but my list of to do's is growing!!!

To swap or not to swap???!!!

Blessings,
Autumn

What? you on some kind of timetable? Throw caution to the wind and JUST DO IT! LOL
There's no age limit on learning to spin, ya know.
Dress looks fab, Hot Mama!!
Dollar table fabric? That's the best kind! I can't remember when I've ever bought fabric at full price. $4/yd is my top limit and it's usually more like $2.

Autumn looks lovely in the red dress. I love that baby quilt, you're little extra touches are so sweet. Lucky babies to get a quilt from you.
I won't be joining the apron swap, so Bonne can just kick my rear all she wants. I don't do aprons remember, just love the mini's. and my goal is to get them done on time (or a reasonable close to it date) and we'll go from there.
Sister in Knoxville tells me it snowed there today, so what kind of weather did you get Steph?
I'm headed down the hall, early for a change. stay up too late and then don't want to get up in the morning.

That's right, Ronna...y'all don't speak to one another much....well, maybe sending the current weather is a testing of the water..LOL Just a joke!!! I know there is muddy waters there..My sister is 7 years older than I and it took us til I was in my mid thirties before we figured out what the issues were...thankfully, it was rooted in another family member and nothing between us personally...how funny to go so long and not understand why?? Guess the right time has to occur to make things right, if ever.

Autumn ~ That dress looks great on you!

I keep thinking I'll age gracefully (or clumsily, whatever) since that's what my grandmothers did. I remember back in my teenage years being a little embarrassed that my grandmas never put on bras except if visitors were coming over or we were leaving the house. Hah. I learned the reason behind them doing that after kid #1. And now I understand the draw of the bright/crazy housecoat and all that jazz. Give me a few more years, who knows what I'll do. But when I do catch a full on gray/white hair on my head it does throw me for a loop.

Okay, here's something twisted. I'm missing the snow. It's been melting and melting and getting kinda ugly looking. I miss the prettiness of fresh snow, and we haven't had any in what, almost two weeks now.
The kids are getting over some kind of virus, of which I'll spare the details. I've got a few sewing things I'd like to finish up, but seed orders, playdates (despite the oh-so-fun you're-a-horrible-mom digs because my 5yo isn't in preschool since we don't have an extra $375/mo for it) and seed swaps are taking precedence.

LOL, ahhhh Sheryl-lyn, gosh I sure do know about wanting to join it all. It sounds divine but dang I have a hard enough time just getting my minis done and then I joined the quilt swap.....geeezzz what am I self destrutive.....

Autumn, thanks for keeping me on your mind, yep, needed that. Our water woes are finally done but looks like some of you have got hit with it, I think that that majorly sucks....

Yeah Jess you got some sleep, good deal girl and smoochies too.
Glad he is home to help out.

Steph don't we all wish we could wiggle our noses and have major things taken care of. And you are so right about self care, shheeezzz, it has taken me long enough to do more and more on that end of the spetrum.

Linda, nice to see your sweet face again girl and some of us were sleeping, yes during the daytime because we are not sleeping at night, no, I would have no idea who that was.....yes, me.....lol

Bonne, would love to do the apron one but gosh girl, can only do so much before brain engages and says what are you crazy!!!!!!

Ok, hoping to be truly heading for bed and being able to sleep....good morning girls and good night for me....grin!!!!
