Well, "Red-Boy", got me up at 5. I usually sleep through his morning routine, but today he was too noisy.
Oh, well, I'll just get on the road earlier. OOohhhh, what's this I see on the weather? 70 tomorrow? ;)

Good morning, ladies!!
The kids are working on school. We will have a heat wave today and hit the upper 20's maybe even 30's. WOW! It is too cold.

Lanna~I have alot of freshly fallen snow here. Would you like some?

Autumn~I love the dress. You look great!!! The quilt is gorgeous, too.

Jess~Tell hubby to forget about the real estate issues for now and give you some smoochies.

Hope you all have a great day.

I have alot to do today but I will try to check in later.

Autumn, great dress!

I am still a prisoner of the snow, my driveway is clear, my car still under two and a half feet of snow ( it won't start today either) but I am looking forward to seeing the inaugural today.

I really want to go to Jo
Ann's or some place that sells silver rickrack, but roads and my stumbling bum of a car aren't encouraging me to be very adventuresome..

Carol Sue, I signed up for the quilt block swap and the apron swap, I must be insane, I'm still on slow speed with the minis. You are a smarter woman than I, you know when to say no. I hope you feel well today, I'm having coffee and pain meds and trust that will haul me through the day.

Steph, I haven't been paying enough attention to what people are posting. Two years before you move in? Yikes!

I went right to Naomi's blog and signed up for that giveaway, she is one talented young woman, and of course that beautiful purple owl....that girl knows how to use color.

Jess, Now my brain is on overload for the quilt blocks, has the size been decided? I keep looking at the posts for the block swap and it seems like all kinds of sizes have been mentioned....

Bonne, you are so wicked to gloat - 70 degrees, we won't see that here until maybe June...I do remember one Fourth of July when we had a high of 41 degrees. There is a saying in Maine, we've got two seasons, winter and the 4th of July

More coffee for me...

you have been on this board forever how come you only have 990 posts...cmon girl.

does anyone know the rules about living in a foreign country? I wonder if I could take the kids dn live out in the country in Italy for a couple of years. Total immersion, they would all learn a 2nd language because they have to. Well, in reality, Lexi would learn the 2nd language, and then she would be an enabler for all the others to not learn....oh nevermind. I am kooky today.

I just finished making an apple crisp. It's in the oven. The house smells so good. I can't wait until we can eat it.
I had to make laundry detergent today. I am finally caught up on laundry. Even washed the doggie beds. They really needed it.
What is everyone making for supper? Anything good. I think I'm making some breaded chicken cutlets, rice and veggies.

Chicken Alfredo, homemade biscuits, tossed salad and steamed carrotts here.

It was warm here today but a bit windy. Beautiful sunshine -also my moms 71st birthday. We both had chocolate covered strawberries.

I got two clothespin bags stitched up for people who have recently been generous to me in one way or another. Remember the grapefruits??? She needs an apron too-that was a lot of grapefruit!!!

Blessings,
Autumn
