Bonne, then I won't tell you I have about $10k in the Bernina with the embroidery software, mega hoop, ball cap hoop and a crazillion feet I'll probably never use. Scary thought. I sure as hell hope someone enjoys and appreciates all this when I'm gone, my daughter wouldn't and my son and spouse would have no idea. But then, I plan to outlive the spouse, so I can fill up his huge shop with all my 'stuff' and shove his toys aside :)

What the??? Ronna!! Now you REALLY need to be sewing on it. Why would you invest that much in it and not use it?

Maybe I'll live long enough to use up all the fabric, wear out the machines and sell or give away all my collectibles. Excuse me, I'd better go start now...but suppose I should load the dishwasher first.

NO way! He doesn't even know I traded in the other machine and he bought that one. This was part of my inheritance I spent and yes, I do need to make use of it. Mint in box only counts for collectibles like diecast cars, not sewing machines.

What we need is for MJ to start a "Farmgirl Assisted Living Center" for when we get to that point.
We'll get to bring our sewing machines~the rooms will be all set up with a crafting area. Something to
look forward to in our old age~ROFL I'll always be sneaking into Ronna's room to use her sewing machine. ;)

Ok, is this Teresa or CS using T's name..LOL Good for you! I love to hear about women in the kitchen cooking and being so domestic...guess you can tell I've put cooking on the sideburner..totally burnt out on it and then when my gut issue flared up year before last I realized that everything I cooked was causing my problems..so it's salads, salads, did I mention salads....I should be sprouting something I've eaten so much raw over the past year.

hope you have some Italian sausage in that spaghetti sauce, really adds the flavor. I've made my own for years. A #10 (yeah, I know, they don't go by those numbers anymore, the big restaurant size) can of tomato puree or crushed tomatoes is about $3, I use one of each. Wonderful with fresh tomatoes too, though it looks awful the first hour or so, like pinkish dishwater until the tomatoes really break up and blend. I guess my daughter finally learned how to do it, she used to take half of what I had in the freezer everytime she was here. Or she's using stuff from a jar..and I don't want to know. Yes, sputtering tomato sauces will burn you badly.
Did someone say brownies...yummmmy
