Ok here are the dresses-they look kinda wonky here but both look good on. I just couldn't model them again tonight girls!
The green is a soft med weight knit-I love the feel but it does cling a little

The stripe fabric I have had for years-kinda western?
I think this one needs a bit of trim along that empire waist-I just noticed that the stripes should have been either matchedor something.Any suggestions?

Now I just need about 3 more and Im set-cotton and lightweight denim.

Blessings,
Autumn

ditto desert dust, Monica. We're on an acre and the back yard is not landscaped (dogs yard). I can dust and have a layer again within a few minutes.
Great dresses Autumn, Bonne is so good at encouraging us with a kick to the rear when we need it. So far, she's not kicked me hard enough :)
None of my MIL's ever had any recipes I'd want, but do have Larry's moms recipe box, unless I let my daughter take it home. Only a couple of my mothers recipes were ones I'd want and do have them too. Other two MIL's never cooked that I knew about. My daughter told my sister years ago that I intimidated her in the kitchen, cause I cook by taste and not what a recipe might say. She never showed any interest in cooking, but think she cooks now for her cowboy.

I have to SEE all my stuff to remember I actually have it! Cant close it behind doors or curtains.

I have a good friend that has a cool work room. Her hubby let her design it and then he put it together for her.

My changes ALL the time-just like me

Autumn, your newest dresses are so cute, I love the colors. Bonne better watch out, you may catch up with her sewing output soon...

Sharon, Glad to hear your machine has healed itself. I had to buy a foot pedal for my old Bernina about twenty years ago, and it cost $100 then, I'm sure they charge a fortune now and then double it....

Almost midnight, time to fold some laundry. I made the mistake of shoveling more snow today so I've been applying big bags of frozen peas to my shoulders off and on all night. My car is going to the shop tomorrow now that I've dug it out and it still won't start...

I agree with you Steph, that sewing room is just a bit overdone for me, though I love looking at all that stuff. In the house I lived in before this I had a whole wall of shelves that seemed to glide out as if by magic and I sorted my fabrics by color and folded them and filed them, it was wonderful. Well I had to put clothes in some of hte shelves and of course the material was breeding behind my back...I'm dreaming of drawers here, which will never happen, but I like dreaming....

Brain on empty, I better head for that laundry pile while my body is still moving....

Karin

Autumn, I like the dresses.
Yep, glad, but the pedal may run about $150.00 or so. I should have bought one over a year ago, but didn't think too much about it. There are the electronics inside, which can get ruined. Well, I have been going through the fabrics and selling them, so that is a plus.

Dh complains about the fabric, but I don't give him a hard time about a lot of things(his huge messes), so he should cut back on the complaining. At least most of the material is on bolts and on shelves, while others are in containers. I do have some fabrics not yet in containers.

Yes, I'm also the Queen of clutter..although it's good clutter, mind you, it's still too much.....so my idea of cabinets the next time will reduce that feeling of "stuff everywhere!"...of course, it's driving me to the next level of insanity in this tiny apartment right now so that's driving the cabinet (out of sight) plan right now. The energy would flow so smoothly....aaaahhhhhhh, I can vision it and breathe!!! LOL

Steph- lovin' all the patterns you are posting..I am recognizing several from my own collection..somewhere in all my books I have the whole sheet for the Topsy and Eva doll....the ornate cross you have, pretty sure is part of a baby blanket set...The newest ones are such a cute Days of the week set....way fun...

Thanks, Nay...leave me some comments at the blog too. The ornate cross was from a sheet out of an old workbasket magazine.

Steph...Cool...I'm thinking they must have used that same cross in different places...But I need to go back through all my patterns again to be for sure...I know I have that one...somewhere...I still have a ton of patterns tucked away in a drawer that need put in notebooks like the rest...and they all need to be scanned in....wanna do it for me? haha
After the move....after the move...Must preserve all my embroidery patterns...

Steph...is it just me or is there an over abundance of monogram letters in the embroidery patterns? haha..I must have dozens of different fonts and flowers so.many.flowers. hehe, all very nice. But still, flowers and letters....oooh! and "His" "Hers" "Ours".....and "Baby".
My favorites have to be "Tasks of the week" and "Days of the week"...and the toys...so fun!..

Yes, Naomi, I think there are dozens of the Alphabets and monogram letters..I have seen many transfers that were in Workbasket that have shown up on the large transfer sheets too. I guess when they were marketed through many different distributors back then.

Scanning..it goes pretty fast once you get in the groove but it's definitely time consuming....so let's see in the year 2015 when I may be done with mine I'll start on yours..LOL
