what a nightmare ruth! I am so sorry! Yes, a good midwife could have helped you. I am really glad i was exposed to it at a young age!

You want me to fly to Spokane Teresa to make chicken marsala with you? It is not that hard, really!

Well well well. I have my car. I have the phone number of the lady with the treadle. I'm going to call her up and see if I cqan figure out how to fit this in the back of my van, there are things back there that are total mysteries to me. I need to start a flea market, hell i could just have people stagger through my house and make offers. Maybe in the spring. Maybe in the summer...

I am so thrilled to have my car back....pretty pathetic eh?

Ok I'll be reporting on this treadle later today...

a car is really freedom
without it you feel trapped, so excited for you

treadle will fit beautifully in your van, just give the other stuff a shove

Morning All

Hugs to you Ruth don't fret afterall your body is just your house to house your spirit whilst you are here and that goes for Autumn too.

Wow I slept in have 3 girls sleeping over no school here today. So I probably won't get much accomplished.

Karin got your wings back now hurry up and pick up treadle no more excuses. Hows it going to fit well just chuck the other stuff out at her place and tell her you feel better doing a trade. Lol

Good morning ladies! Well I just sat and read through 14 pages trying to catch up and now I can't remember everything! Hubby has been working on stuff on the computer so I haven't been able to get on as much and keep up!

Bonne, The cinnamon rolls look very yummy! I made mini cherry pies last night for hubby's birthday and they came out pretty good!

Karin, I am glad you have your car back!!

Carol Sue, So sorry to haer about your friend! I will be praying for her!

Naomi, Hope the packing goes well! We are going to be moving at some point in the future and I do not at all look forward to packing!

I told you all before about trying to return the slippers I had got for hubby and they wouldn't give me a full refund! Well I e-mailed Dollar General and they asked me to call! I did and the manager of the store where I got them called me and apologized and said that is not their store policy and I could bring them back and get a full refund! I figured I would put in a good word for them because they took care of it quickly! I must say though DON'T ever buy from Net magazines online! I ordered a magazine subscription for hubby last March and it has not started and I can't get a refund! I even filed a complaint with the Attorney General! So right now I am still out $67.00 and have no magazine!

Ruth, I had a midwife when I had Isaiah and there is no comparison between her and the ob/gyn's I had with the girls! Isaiah is going to be 7 next month and I still talk to her every so often. I would just about not give either doctor the time of day, especially the one because he lied to me!!!

I hope you all have a great day! I am off to get some silk thread done!

Carrie, you are brilliant! The thought of yarding out the back of my van in someone's driveway is very tempting. However I believe I'll just try to redistribute the rubble, some in the house, some heaped in the seats. I'm still lsughing at the thought of this poor woman having who knows what in her driveway.

A little overcast here today, but it isn't supposed to snow again until tonight...

So Ronna, this is sourdough starter ffrom you that every one is raving about. jess' bread looked fabulous...How are the mini aprons coming along?
I am going to head for JoAnn's this afternoon and I hope I find something I like for the waist bands. I am just struggling with this one.

OK I'll tell you all about my adventure later...

Or buy duct tape to hold in everything. LOL Too rich for my blood.
Jess, the bread turned out awesome!!! Now I need to bake me some!! YUMMMY!
Apron is adorable too~almost "V" day and I already got my card. ;)
Off to the grocery store to see what bargains I can grab in the markdown bin. Last time they
had a ton of baking stuff they'd stocked up on for the holidays. Cocoa, baking chocolate, white chocolate,
etc etc. Poor Red , trying to lose weight......

Karin~when you pick up the treadle just put it on the passenger seat and buckle that baby in. Glad to hear that your car is all better. I hate not having a car.

Jess~My floor so needs to be mopped but everything is mud outside and everyone's tracking it in. It doesn't make me feel like cleaning.

Teresa~Can I come over for breakfast sounds yummy.

Carrie~Thank you for your kind words.

Hubby just came home for lunch actually and he brought home a yummy cheesecake from a local restaurant.

Living the farm life in my heart.
