Now the scientists have reversed the notion that we are in global warming....as I suspected as many others have..we are headed for an ice age...LOL Kind of like how they tell us this and that will contribute towards getting certain diseases and then 5-10 years later after they actually have some prooven facts that they say, ummm, we were wrong about that...The glaciers are not melting like they've been telling us for years.

The two professions I can think of that you can be mirserably wrong and keep their job...a scientist and a meteorologist.

It's really a trip to see how the winters have changed in Tennessee..but this winter they have had snow like it used to be when I was a young girl.

We are heading directly towards global warming. My son did his paper on climate change. It is very scary, if we continue on this path, what will happen.

I have been wondering for a long time where this global warming was. It has been freezing here. I tell my husband all the time that I am going to be a meteorologist because you can be wrong all the time and it doesn't matter. LOL

MY dh would love a garage. We have the room for it but not the money to put one on. Besides I really hate to make to many improvements here because supposedly the airport near us is buying out our whole neighborhood to expand but with this economy who knows. It's a small airport and they don't do international flights so I can see the reason to expand. You just never know.

I just ran to the post office and library. Jess's and Teresa's hats are on their way to their homes. Can't wait to see more pics of the kids with their hats.

Jess~You could do a whole family picture now with everyone wearing owl hats. LOL

One of the sites we found was from the NOAA. It has a daily image of the snow on the earth. Images are taken from satellites flying over the northern hemisphere twelve times a day.

Yay! for the business cards Naomi. I can't wait until you put some of your creations in your Etsy. I think my daughter will love them. I'm sure it's a bit crazy right now with the packing and moving.

Oh! Jess~our computer was trouble all weekend. Such a pain but we can't live without them. Tell it to behave and just let us see these pictures already.

oh gosh..yeah..it's a bit crazy around here lately.I was up til about 2:30 last night..err this morning... packing a few things from the linen closet..have to get that done today.
hope everyone is doing good though.
A house "may" have been found though..we wait and see.
but if you'd like to keep us in your thoughts/prayers about this particular house we'd really appreciate it. It is a 2012 sq ft. on .43 of an acre..nearly double the yard we have now. It's not a farm or a lot of land, but I don't require that to grow everything I want to grow.
but anyhow..I will be glad when the move is behind us.
hugs to you all today.

Ice in California....Wow!

Hey, count me in on the clothespin bag. I am putting up a line at the farm, so I will need a clothespin bag.....and clothespins!! WooooHOooooo!

I got my cute little owlie hats today....wore one to walk the girls this afternoon. Love it.

Finished the redwork lady at the treadle and made a quilt for my sewing room. Quilted and edged this morning...pics on blog.

Next project is a Raggedy Ann and Andy quilt for a friend's daughter. She gave me a piece of wallpaper to use as an idea. I blew it up at the printshop and will make it a big applique in the middle with some sort of patchwork around. Kind of excited to start it....a little more challenging.

Tomorrow it is supposed to snow....so that will be a good day to sew. Yay

Sign me up for clothespin bag, Jessiepoo!!! That should be fun. Let me know the deadline, etc.

count me in too on the clothespin bag!!

nay great looking cards

had a babylock serger but got frustrated with it and its at moms house i couldnt get it to work right. i would get it all threaded and then start to use it and it wouldnt keep the tension right and made a mess. finally just had it and so its at moms. maybe i will find one of those shops to learn how to use it, cause i really wanted to sew with it but just got to frustrated. i think mom might know where to take it.

hope everyone has had a good day

Hello ladies,

I did some cleaning, too. I washed my sheets and put them back on my bed. Scrubbed the kitchen floor. Ironed clothes and put away a bunch of laundry. Just have the kids left and they can put that away tomorrow.

Have any of you heard of Dear Genevieve on HGTV? I keep telling my husband that I am going to ask her to come here and work on our kitchen. It is so tiny and we need help in getting it to function better. Of course we don't have a clue where to begin. Wouldn't it be great if they came here.
