Well, Carol Sue...it always seems like you get the last post of the day...you or Steph....and I get the first post of the day (it's 7:45 here...that is actually late for me!)

Thanks, Sharon, for the sweet words. No talent...just guts.

Karin (Mumof3) I looked at your blog...great job on the craft room. I have decided not to bother until I pack up and move....at that point I am going to have a wonderfully organized room. For now....a train wreck.

Karin (electricdunce)I could use some coaching on hand applique, please!

Ronna, you are the thrift queen, I swear!

Ok, well, gott get going...heading back to the farm to meet with the electrician. We had a winter storm last night, so travel is going to be messy. Will take pics. Then hopefully a little time to work on Raggedy Andy.

Y'all have a great day!

Bev., Good morning to you. I am waiting for my neighbor to call. We try to go walking during the week, and lately, I am not a morning person. Yesterday, I had to be out at my mom's place by 7 am because of an appointment with the gas company. Last time, he was there at 7:15 or so. So....did some sorting and dusting while waiting.

I told dh today that a couple of the packages from eBay (one to Brazil and another one to UK), and that I charge an additional fee, and told him the reason. He was barking at me in his usual tone that I don't charge enough. I don't know why I tell him anything these days.

Funny Steph, looking for the Pucci skirt...don't think he'd wear the top too? He's actually in Sweden now, works for H&M clothing and was at their flagship store in Manhattan for a long time. My daughter and adopted sister (same age) dressed him up in girls clothes when they were all together at my Dad and stepmoms..I didnt know this until recently. They said he really liked it, but I have no clue if he's a cross dresser and don't care. He was really rude and snotty to me when Mother died, so I don't care to see or talk to him again. He didn't like her and she didn't like him, so why a big deal to not arrange the burial around him. He did fly to CA to be with his mother, but flew home before the burial because he was "so distraught". Being gay or bisexual doesn't bother me a bit, it's how he reacted that didn't set well with me. sheeeessshhhhhh.

Hello, ladies!

It's been a crazy morning but I am hoping for a quiet afternoon so I can work on my minis.

I made two salmon pies for supper and two pumpkin pies. In my house one pumpkin pie is never enough. I shoveled some snow before hubby came home for lunch. It is so miserable out now because it's raining on top of the snow and it's all slushy. We didn't even bother to go to my son's gym class.

I have laundry I need to finish and I need to clean the bathroom.

I'm going to play a quick game of Wii bowling before I do some work. Ds keeps asking me to play.

Karin (Ga)~I love your sewing room. Gorgeous.

Ronna~Sorry about the drama.

Steph~Sorry about the delay in moving. This winter is really getting all of us bad.

Bonne~I love the snowman hat. I will have to make a bunch of those to sell before next Christmas.

Gals, I am still waiting on the machine. Husqvarna is so slow at shipping out the necessary parts. I called the repair shop yesterday, and mentioned that I really need to sew up an item, so he is going to have the machine for me to use while awaiting the parts. The needed parts will not affect the sewing capabilities of the machine, so I am told.

I miss those days, when the repair would take a maximum of 3 days or so.

Well it is snowing here and the roads haven't been plowed yet, the back roads anyway, so I inched my way to the post office and was rewarded with my copy of
"Feb/March Maryjane's magazine. Then I slithered into town to pick up all my prescriptions. It is just supposed to be two to four inches of snow, but we've gotten four inches already with no end in sight. It is very beautiful. didn't bother to attempt my driveway, I'll wait until the snowplow guy shows up tonight.

I think i have finished 5 mini aprons, 27 to go. Perhaps later I will see if I can't finish some...I think I need a nap first.

Chinooks a blowin' here , so up in the 40's. whooo hoo! lol

I've got the makin's of a new batch of sourdough "sponging" away.
The next victims I'm going to wow are going to be Red's co-workers.
When I worked in an office in the late 70's-80's, we were always bringing
in homebaked goodies to share. Nobody does that at his office 'cept me. :(

wonder what mischief Autumn is up to?

Karin, are you doing any patchwork mini's? I think I'm going to go up to my MIL's and steal the one you made back that's on her "holiday" tree. I string them on her tree and rotate them occasionally.

Ok~laundry's done, bathroom's clean, dinner's made, the wood bin is full, the kitchen is cleaned up from baking and cooking. Now I will sit and work on my minis.

We started with snow here today and now it turned to rain. It's all slush and a big mess. Flooding our walkways and streets because the rain doesn't have anywhere to go. I am just glad I am staying home.

Since I have owned a sewing machine, I never was offered a loaner. That would be nice.

Carrie~my machine is new and I still don't know how to use all it's gizmos and gadgets. I really need to take some time to learn it.

No loaners anywhere anymore.
