Here is a picture of the ladybug fabric I bought for the baby quilt. They won't have the quilt until long after the girl is born, especially with all that is going on right now.

Thinking of spring is nice. It is like spring here in California. We don't get snow where I live, but sometimes we can get a lot of rain. The last series of rain storms that we had brought over 7 inches of rain in 2 days.

The squares are 8 inch but if they make them bigger I will just add to the ones that aren't. Make sense?
Wonderful ladybug fabric!!!

I hope you are all well!! I plan to sew a little tonight. I posted an apron on my blog (and a story about pheasants). The apron is a plain work one, but it is so useful, that I had to have it! It sewed up in no time flat.

oh no...it is good to know, not grossed out, just a gross story, but these things happen, when we have baby rabbits, i hate it if they ever die and the kids find em. I had this rabbit that had her first litter, and somehow i had the dates miscalclated and she ended up with only one survivor outta 10 and well...the kids found the nightmare and ofcourse she was doing what she could to get rid of the bodies and one of my kids actually threw up...entrails should never be extrails...you are so right. I am much better at calculations these days.

Jess: My kids have had many lessons like that at the hands of mother nature! Well, at least you had a good reason to become more efficient with the math! :)

I of course cant handle realy really gross stuff....zombie movie tonight(28 weeks later) had my gagging at parts ok?...and today...mom and I found a mummified skinks(large local lizard) and all of a sudden...-------(Too Much Info)-------...I practically ran across the yard...gagging....ok...small amounts of gore I can handle...too much blood etc...I'm oughta here...haha

sewing..um...
finished my minis...
spent...last night I think it was, cutting 5in squares for a quilt for my grands 50th..it'll just be a basic quilt..no fancy stuff, in blue and yellow.

Becoming a mom makes a person much less susceptible to
being grossed out~LOL Too many things happen to kids and
somebody has to make things right and not freak out.

We learned last week that dogs can clean out a baby potty very well after the big job has been left. That was a gross treat to find out...and same goes with the cat box.

Ah, yes, some dogs are poop-eaters. They like rabbit poop too usually, so watch her when that chore is being done.

hmmm...she has been present for that, but she is way too interested insniffing the actual poopers than their poop, but all in good time i am sure.
