Hey Ladies, It's a great thought to think you're all thinking about my boob!! Yes, I'm doing okay with this, I do think Mom needs more support than I do. I'm the one that's going to be getting the morphine and strong meds soon, not her... I like the term 'frankenboobies' too, although I am now referring to it as my boob job. Sounds much more interesting anyways. Thanks for all of the support!

Y'know. Some days it just doesn't pay to chew through the restraints.
With all of us sending good energy and hugs, you can't lose. We farmgirls are a tough lot. Scrappy, and strong.
Love, Patricia

Holly...I laughed out loud at your post...frankenboobies...what a hoot. What made me laugh, too, was your sign off comment "Thanks for all of the support". One big Farmgirl bra... I have you and your family in my prayers every night.

Haha! I didn't even think of it that way, but it works perfectly! This network is a great support system, either 'angle' you wish to look at it! I prefer to view it with a push-up on!! And I do have to give credit to Kim for the frankenboobies comment. I will email you if I have any questions Kim. I have my surgery consult on Friday, hopefully. They keep cancelling on me due due the surgeons hectic schedule. Thank you !

Well, Ladies,I need your prayers for the next 5 days or so. Miss Holly's lumpectomy and biopsy is set for tomorrow morning, and then my poor DH will finally have his spinal fusion next Wednesday also. I have my Nurse's cap out,the sick bed made up,and loading in popsicles, ice cream and jello (when they do a spinal fusion, they got in thru the front of your throat). I'm ready.I think. |

Diane,
DH and I will be raising you and your beloved family up in prayer. Be sure to take care of yourself too. Are you getting any help so that you can have a short break now and then?

Diane, don't forget to use the blue light on them. It's very powerful and will be the best thing of all you can do for them. I'm sending it as well.
Love, Patricia

Diane, healing blue lights, God's presence in and thru every situation, and the healing balm of love from the farmgirls...the only thing better would be if we could each take a turn being with you in person. Be confident we are there in spirit.
Many hugs and prayers lifting you, hubby and holly up, up, up!!!!

Thank you, Friends. The lumpectomy went well and the patient home. It was quite a large sized fibroadenoma they feel, but they set it to pathology just to be safe. Miss Pinup seems to be feeling sore and tired but fine. She is very young and very healthy so that helps.Thank you for your prayers..now take a break till WEDNESDAY when we'll need you again! Love you all... |

You rest up too, Diane!! My husband had back surery ( a fusion too..they went in through the front which I found weird...but the healing time is supposed to be better) in 2000 and it was a long hard year for me as well as him. I had a hard time with him being home so much..I am sorry to say..makes me sound awful but I am used to being alone more..and they arn't at their best when they are in pain or feel helpless. I had to keep telling myself that time would pass and things would get easier and they did. I will sure keep you in my prayers and your family too..don't forget to take care of YOU too!!
