I guess this is as good a place as any to introduce myself. I'm sooooo new that this is my very first post. And I'm typing with my fingers crossed, hoping I'm not breaking any rules. I live in Kentucky and am in the process of moving from the country to town (by necessity not choice). It seems that at 57 years old I'm reclaiming my freedom, so to speak. This site seems to be very safe and very friendly and I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you farmgirls. I love life, I love people and I love living the simple life. I crochet, sew,.......ya know what? I do so many crafts I'd better not even try to list them!! I'm proud and happy to be one of MaryJane's Farmgirls and now that I've stumbled on to this site and am officially accepted as a "farmgirl" I need to go subscribe to the magazine and stop borrowing my sister's.

Welcome, you will love it here. I am in my 50's also and I learn from these ladies everyday. And it is a safe place. Don't worry. Just enjoy!

Welcome to the forum from another gal from the Bluegrass! I have heard of Livermore, but don't quite know where it is...
I'm from the Northern part of the state...sure do love this forum, and all these ladies. You will find a welcome respite from daily "whatever" here, and an abundance of kindred spirits.

WOW! thank you all sooooomuch for the warm welcome. I had to make a hasty exit yesterday evening because of a storm. I have a couple questions but I may be able to answer them myself after I have a more in depth "look-round". I am really looking forward to getting to know my sisters. Darn!! My son just pulled in the drive! Don't get me wrong....I LOVE MY SON.....but what an inoportune time. (SIGH) I'll get back with you all later.
