I just found the forum a while back and have been lurking...finally decided to join the group! I have really enjoyed reading the posts and am really looking forward to joining in the convos going here.

A bit about myself: I am 27, married 7 years. We have our first child on the way (due in February) and live on 17 acres out in the country. This is our first year in the new-to-us house and my first year having a big garden. We are striving to live a simpler, country life...not easy with both of us in school and working, but we're trying to make it all work.

Anyway, again, I look forward to being a part of this community. It looks like a fun place to be!

~April

Welcome, April! I bet most of us started off here as "lurkers"; I know I did! Your life sounds wonderfully full and it will get even more interesting next February!! Congratulations on expecting your precious little one. Hugs, Nance

Hi April:
Welcome to the MJF forum. I, like you, like the simple life. I'm a country girl and love it.
