Haven't been in my garden for 2 weeks because I was sick last weekend and out of town during the week -
I can't believe it, my broccoli plants are still producing side shoots! I am pretty sure there is enough out there for dinner tonight!
Hooray! One less trip to the grocery store!
I also picked some kale and cabbage, and had portuguese kale/cabbage soup for lunch...

We still have quite a bit of broccoli, too! We just got about 6 inches of snow, but I think it will be fine for a little bit longer. I hope so, because I'm supposed to be bringing some to the family Thanksgiving feast.

There is just nothing like fresh broccoli straight from the garden. I love it. I didn't grow any this year. But next spring will see a row in the garden.
