Fallon Fischer (Young Cultivator of Christine Kenney, bellepic, #8680) has received a certificate of achievement in Out There Kids for earning an Expert level I Am a Survivor badge!
"We ID'ed and sampled a lot of plants in the park. Fallon ID'ed 5 of her favorites without any help. We also learned a lot more about their medicinal, textile, and dye uses which was beyond the scope of the foraging book.
After returning home, we got back to work learning how to start fires with ferro rods if we end up using all our matches.

"I got on my tablet and read the book "Milton Hershey - A Children's Biography".
He was a good man. He and his wife built a orphanage school. He opened a lot of stores, but no one went to his stores. He tried multiple times, then he tried one more time, and it worked. He made the Hershey Kisses and his company grew and grew."

"I read the book called "Milton Hershey - A Children's Biography".
I learned that Milton created the best chocolate in the world. He was not successful at first, but he would not give up. He treated his workers very nicely. His factory is still in Pennsylvania."

I didn't really like the story, but I learned a lot about the famous Hershey chocolate. I did like learning how he made the Hershey Kisses."
