I know we have several of us out there!
Traditional - Non Traditional - What have you- Come and share your classes, trials and tribulations.
There are few things in this life that can be as frustrating and exciting as attending school.
I personally am a non-traditional student. I am still working on finishing up my degree due to many starts and stops. Right now I only have 4 semesters left. YAY! Bring on graduation!!
I am taking two accounting classes, Statistics, Biology, and economics for a total of 5 classes and 16 credits.
Already I have several deadlines I am scrambling to achieve. I just got my first of three biology chapters finishes that have to be finished by next Friday. I should be able to wrap this studying on Sunday. I just have to make sure I am not forgeting one of my clases. I am lucky that all my classes are via the internet (doing homework at midnight and getting credit for it! yeah!). It really takes the pressure out of the schedule and saves on gas. It is a bit more expensive to register online, but I think it's worth it.
So what about you gals?

I too am in college! :)
Right now I am attending our community college, and taking History 101, French 1, English 101, and Cultural Anthropology.
It's a big change from 60 hour work weeks, that is for sure!

Wow! To people having Cultural Anthropology! That's amazing!
I am working on my math and accounting homework. Both are due soon- Accounting is due tomorrow and Math (Stats) is due at the end of the week.
I remember when the first week of school used to be easy! I miss those days!

I am between nursing and pharmacist right now. I can't decide. I figure I will apply to both programs and let fate decide. I got my first degree 8 years ago, and going back is much harder now, especially with a child!

I'm with ya on that one Tina!! Sometimes you just wanna say FORGET THIS!!! I have 3 more classes to take after this semester of Spanish II then I can start my bachelors. Most semesters I can only take 1 class at a time... between work and taking care of my "kids" (5 dogs, 4 cats, 3 horses, and my pot bellied pig) not to mention the other stuff that happens on the farm. It is sooo hard sometimes. I plan on heading into Veterinary Medicine... right now I'd settle for anything in the animal field. I just keep telling myself all this time would pass one way or the other. Plus whats the point is quitting now spending all that time and money without anything to show for it. ONE DAY AT A TIME GIRLS!!!! WE CAN DO IT!!
I'm so busy I don't know if I just found a rope or lost my horse! |

Okay ladies so how is it going?
I have taken an account quiz and am gearing up for the next one now. I have submitted work on my other account class and frustratingly enough have not heard back on it. My econ teacher is being great about not grading the homework just yet as some of us are still missing books and I am slowly slogging through my math homework.
And yes, I am procrastinating by posting right now...I better get back to it!

Oh been there with you all!! Couple years ago was working on Biblical Studies. I would have maybe a year or year and a half but just couldn't afford it even with aid. Those loans stink and .... you know. Was doing it through a distance ed as have been in college in past. The last classes I have were Greek 1, History of the Christian Church, a theology class, a couple counseling, Old Testament Archeology and a couple more that my brain just went blank on. HA maybe good thing I am not there, HA!!!

Alee, I'm not in college, but I'm definitely in school, and I can somewhat relate to what you gals are going through. It's the end of the quarter for me, and I have so much stuff to finish up and study for. Keep going Alee! I bet you can't wait for the day you graduate! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

I am in school for a BFA in fashion design. Currenly I am at midterms (we're on a quarters system) and am about to become overwhelmed with projects for finals. Thank God I only have 5 quarters left. I am so over this.

Alee! I love the pants! Once I make a pattern, I'll have to make a pair for myself as well. I love layering skirts and pants. As for the petal dress...those are so much fun. What kind of bodice do you want and how much length on the skirt? I'll draw up a few sketches for you. I dont have any fabic on hand that would work for the tribal pants, but I do have quite a collection of recyced silk/rayon if you want to go with a gypsy look on the skirt. Let me know...
