Awesome ladies!! Well I submitted my research homework and am almost done with my first test. As long as I don't bomb it I am okay. I feel like I am in a meat grinder! Everytime I get some relief in one class I find out I am already running behind for the next! Can Christmas break be here yet?

We had midterms this week. Which means:
1. Yay! Half way done! 2. Oh no! Those end of semester projects and papers I have been putting off are to be due soon!

I have a massive assessment tomorrow. I think that Biochem was introduced into the nursing curriculum just to see who would stay and who would drop. Haha!

Congratulations on senior status, Alee. My school is on a quarter system, so I'm in my last week of classes and will be starting a new quarter after Thanksgiving weekend. These shorter school units are intense! I haven't been online recreationally in weeks. I just turned in my last Photoshop assignment, but this weekend I need to design a business identity kit in Illustrator for a fictional local vineyard.
Good luck to all who are heading into the last weeks of your semester! |

Great to hear from you other college farmgirls!! I am REALLY looking forward to winter break. I feel like a lot of my classes have front loaded on the beginning of the semester and now I am starting to have some breathing room- but in all reality I think they have just gotten me used to the schedule! lol Thank goodness for good study partner friends.
I am going to have a full spring semester and I am debating whether I should take any classes over summer. I will definitly be taking fall classes and then in the spring I will be taking the CPA review course which is only one class but is 6 credits! In the fall I will also be taking the H&R Block course in order to learn what one of my classes should be teaching me...but isn't. It's so frustrating! So not this coming tax year but maybe in 2013 I will be earning some extra money in the evenings doing taxes while I study for my CPA test. It's such a scary prospect thinking I am almost done with school. I am really going to be starting my career. It's crazy, exciting and terrifying!

I'm new, a non-traditional student in TX. I'm enrolled in a distance ed Coaching academy - after getting my BS at local University. This is way harder because people are monitoring you ( you are recorded and such). I don't even like hearing my own voicemail!! But, doing what I have to for my cert and credit w/International Coaching Federation. I totally empathize with every single lady in finals /end projects. I had/have ADHD & an LD that really made college a challenge...I learned so many coping strategies that I want to give them back - give what I was given. Been thinking on expanding my clients to working with regular college students too because of my past. Haven't decided yet, but its 'in the oven'...we'll see. Right now, I just have to do the next thing & write this paper! I was hoping we wouldn't have any of those in this year long deal. Oh well!

awesome patricia!
my qtr ended - have a 3.90--my best ever since maybe 9th grade! and i have a full load for next qtr which starts jan 9th--of course, everything for next qtr hinges on the results of yesterday's biopsy--may have to take a qtr off.
also really needing to check into transferring to ohio--my want to be back tere keeps getting greater--just not sure that the classes will transfer....a major dilemma.....requested transcripts yesterday....

Wow! Time Flies! I am halfway through my second to last semester before I actually get my degree! This feels...bizarre! I feel like I have school stockholm syndrome... I don't know what I am going to do when asked to go out into the real world! Could any of this book knowledge actually apply? What if I don't remember any of it!?! I am excited to be done and terrified all at the same time! How are the rest of you gals doing this semester?

Almost donAlee, that's great. My son and daughter are almost finished also, a little scary to see what happens next. I should finish may of 2013. looking forward to my internship this summer. some actual hands on museum experience. can't wait ! have two art history classes and my english which isn't going very well. sorry but hate the professor and can't seem to figure out what he wants in a paper. he gives last minute instructions too , like the night before it is due. thinking of dropping and taking it next semester with another professor |
