I just got done with my last summer class on Thursday. Fall semester starts on the 22nd. So this week I am headed to Iowa for a few days to visit family. My husband will be by himself and the animals. But I have a lot of other things to occupy my time during the break. I have several craft projects to get done and three others to start.

im putting off my math as long as i can!!! maybe i can try testing out of it!pat your revolution course sounds fun--my DAR background kicks into mind!!!!

i decided this morning on the drive to work to do my speech on the merits of a will and advanced directives- can use my death and dying course info for it so the speech should actually be easy peasy!

Hi,

I'm finishing up an Electrical Engineering degree this semester. Yep, finally graduating!!! For all you girls who think there's no light at the end of the tunnel, I was there 5 years ago and it seems like yesterday. So you will get there, stick it out! And if anyone needs any math help, let me know. I've been through a LOT of that rotten stuff. :)

Patricia, definitely shoot me an email! I'm happy to help anyone. Math is tough, it's better to have support. :)

I am probably not as horrible in it as I imagine, but it is not my strongest subject. I have a gpa I am very proud of and am mostly afraid of ruining that with this class so the offer of help is really nice

Well Ladies! It's that time of year again! College classes have started for me. I am taking four...yes four advanced accounting classes this semester. Yup I am officially insane. Don't worry. I am sure they have a padded cell already picked out for me somewhere! ;)

How is everyone else doing?

Alee, is there room in that cell for two? I'm taking 18 credits (5 undergraduate courses and 1 grad) this semester. Even worse, they're spread out between 3 different schools. So I've got 3 different sets of procedures and 3 different online interfaces to work with. I thought it would all work out. I mean, I'm not working, right? So this is the equivalent of a full time job. But when I actually started trying to do it all this week...well, now I'm not so sure I can pull it all off.

my summer qtr ended with my gpa at least .15% lower than i would have liked;however, i understand why-that online class that i dropped-only wish i had dropped it at week one....
anyhow- i got lucky on my speech class; i missed the final due to family funeral but she graded me out at an A; she was pleased with my work!so-i'm on break til the 26th of sept-then 3 classes--picked up my books today-holy smokes-one is bigger than a coffee table book and i need a dolly to lift it to class!one of these is pre req to a bunch of other stuff so that will be good!we're movin this weekend so i'm glad to be on break!

Margo, if it was all books I'd be looking forward to it. But I'm taking lots of different software classes, so I'm jumping around from one online technical-jargon manual to another. Aaargh. Yep, I'm leaving now...back to reading about Photoshop.

Overwhelmed already...BioChem, Abnormal Psych, Nursing classes, and Quantitative Literacy.

This may be a lonnnnng semester. :(

On a good note my school was named the best school in the Midwest for educating undergrads for the second year in a row by US News and World Report. Pretty cool!

I agree! Long semester and lots of work. I am starting to feel overwhelmed but am blessed that 3 out of 4 of my books have a "free trial" period so I can extend out the pain of buying books a bit longer. I also get to return one of my rentals. Ebooks are my friends!

Great job, Patricia!! That is wonderful! I am foreseeing a lot of studying happening this semester with my classes. They all seem to be on the same day rotation for homework and quizes which always drives me nuts. I like it when one class does a quiz at the beginning of the week and another does them in the middle and the other at the end type of thing.

But the good news is that I am getting the most hardcore accounting classes done this semester I think. Next semester I am taking a science with a lab online (geology I think) and that will finish out my generals. I have to test out of a Microsoft office class which shouldn't be hard, and then I just have some buisness classes and one or two more accounting classes then I am done! It's so hard to believe that I am getting this close! This is my last semester as a junior- next semester I will be a senior! SOO Crazy!

How is everyone doing? I survived the first crazy week and am pluging right into the next crazy week! I have a lot of reading to do to night and then tomorrow night I am going to do a marathon of homework. Two electronic homeworks of at least 10 problems each, a case study which I have no idea what they mean by that and then by Friday I have to do read another chapter, 9 hard questions for auditing a and a quiz. For my last class I have three chapters to read a set of homework to do and an exam to take by next week. So I have a total of six chapters, one case study, one quiz and two exams to do. Maybe I should get to reading...

My semester is going really well. So well I have decided to double major! This may be a decision I later regret, but for now I am on course to double major in Nursing and Psychology. We will see how this goes!
