I totally am sold out for MJF! My biggest wish is to own the sweet little camper! Have you seen it on the product list? SO cute!! and I think I should retire early so I can travel all over meeting other farmgirls in it! I was wondering if you other gals have been using the flour to make sourdough bread? I love love love sourdough bread and just need to order some! I am going to try the chillover with some blackberries this weekend, I think it will make awesome jam and maybe a cobbler too! Do I sound like an ad? Didn't mean too! I am very excited to be here! Hope to "meet up" with you other girls here!

I had lived in Port Orchard and Spanaway.. then Olympia before moving out to Georgia. I am in love with MJF too!
It feels like being home with all of these girls!

Hi dandylee!
Are you still on a farm? I opened a farmgirl chapter but haven't gotten any members yet. It's pretty far from you, but you are welcome to join! Right now the name is Growin Green...thought we might change it when we got some members to vote on it!

Welcome, Miss Ann.

I am an Okie raised, but I was born in your neck of the woods at Fort Lewis at Madigan. I understand my father's family still lives in that area, but we haven't kept in touch since my folks split when I was little. Oh, well. I do have a couple of friends that live there, though. They're old buddies of mine from the Army.

Welcome to MJF. I'm loving it although I am very new to it. I haven't tried too many products yet, but am getting around it.

Hi KayB, yes, I know about transplants! I was born in Texas, at 5yo moved to Oregon coast and grew up there. I have been in Washington longer than anyplace now, does that make me a Washingtonian? LOL! I have estranged relatives too, if you want me to look anyone up just give a holler! tell your friends if they are farmgirl inclined that I would love to meet them!

Hi Ann! Welcome to the place where smart girls gather
I'm a Seattle born girl, but I've lived in so many places, I guess I'm calling Moscow Idaho home, since I've been here about 20 years now =)
My paternal grandma was from Texas!
Anyhoo, a great big welcome and so glad to have another farmgirl that dreams of having one of those adorable and so cool campers!

Well, We have usually hot and dry summers, getting over 100 some days each year. Some years we have little snow, like last year and others we have record-breaking amounts , So it depends on the year. The Palouse is pretty and mostly rolling farmland. Moscow is a nice little town and I wish it wasn't expanding as much as it is...Ahhh well. I love it and yet still miss the greener side of the cascades a lot some days. Glad to "Meet" you =)

You have a good weekend!

Hi Ann, You sound just like the rest of us when we found MJFarm Magazine. We all went Ga-Ga for it! I love it here. It's been a busy Summer, so I haven't been on a lot....BUT....hooray....Winter's a'comin. More time to spend with my FarmGal Buddies!

Hi herblady55!
It has been really easy to get caught up in MJF, I am so surprised I never found it before. I actually purchased my first magazine in an airport last year and with that and the other mags I am more and more finding out that what I want to be when I finally grow up (51 now) is a farmgirl!

Hi Katmom!
we have two wonderful Kat-kids too! and a Quaker Parrot kid also, who is solely my husbands pet. Our other human children are all grown. I love the fact that you can grow such wonderful stuff on the east side of the state, I am still trying to convince myself that the heat is worth it! Thanks for the note!

Sure do. My husband's family is scattered all over that city. LOL We even have people out in Graham. :) Where abouts in Tacoma do you live? (Ya know, if I close my eyes I can still smell the Tacoma-Aroma...lol!!!)
