Just found this thread. My prayers will include you and your family. The women here who have deeper knowledge will help you immensely, but we are all moms and daughters and sisters, and we stand alongside you in our thoughts and prayers.

My Prayers are with you and Jacob and your entire family. I can not honestly imagine what you are feeling and going through, but I pray that you find the strength to take one step at a time, and know that you are not alone in this journey.

Keeping you and your family in my daily prayers!! We have a dear friend who is now 10yrs old that has had the same cancer- he is doing very well. Please set up a Caringbridge site for him, it will help to get info out fast to family and friends and people can post messages to you guys also- we are sending all of our love and prayers to you. Try and stay strong and lean on us thru this- we are here for you!!

Elizabeth, I just saw this. I guess I'm a little dumbfounded and I really can't quite gather my feelings to say anything really inspired.
Please know that I am thinking of that precious child and your family at this time. I can't imagine what you must be going through--praying for your strength.

I will thank God for bringing you all thru this with the best possible outcome. I will contact prayer partners for Jacob. My son is also a Jacob. Please know you are all held in prayer.

From Beths blog her brother Dan posted tonight. Beth asked that I make sure these got posted here as well.-
- Ben and Beth were able to get a room at the RMD (Ronald McDonald - she was hoping they would) House. Jacob's surgery went as planned. There were no complications. Ben and Beth at this point are now waiting to see him in ICU. Will post more info as it becomes available.
