Hi everyone. I joined this forum years ago and then life changes happened and I totally forgot all about it! Tonight it came to mind and here I am. Just wanted to say hi again. My name is Kim. I am a farm girl wanna-be. I live in Idaho on .5 acre for 4 more days. On Thursday we make the move to Eastern Idaho where my husband will end his 2 year unemployment history! WOO HOO! :) We will be living on 2 acres where we will be planting a HUGE garden, preparing for the canning/preserving season, raising our little flock of hens and ofcourse dreaming of our own mini-farm in the future.
Anyway I look forward to jumping in and meeting other farm girls. Have a great night! |

Welcome Kim! I'm guessing you have a little named Caitlin? I do too. Spelled the same also. :) My Caitlin will be 14 the 1st of May. I guess she's not so little anymore. How old is your Caitlin? :)

Thanks everyone. I forgot how friendly this place is. :)
Melanie- My Caitlin is 8 going on 16! She is a fiesty one that keeps us on our toes. We have 3 other kiddos (ages 5-1) and boy does Caitlin keep them in check! :) She is my right hand man in the kitchen and a real sweetheart.
