Just a quick note, last evening after I came home from work I was in the kitchen making tea & humming one of Rod Stewarts standards he did on the songbird CD,(Berkelry Square), all of a sudden the song starts playing & my hubby grabs my arm & we are dancing to it in our kitchen!! It was so nice & romantic. our daughter comes out, laughs & goes back to her room. We finished the dance w/ a kiss, drank our tea & went to bed. It was wonderful.!!!! Just wanted to share.

Neat story, Michele! That's a CD I just bought - it's great. Maybe we should start a music thread for every farmgirls' favorite music?

Big smile! That sounds so romantic! Makes me want to put on some tunes and dance around the living room...

Thats so cute!
you can be oh so smart, or you can be oh so positive. I wasted a lot of time being smart I prefer being positive. |

So nice to enjoy the simple things with each other, isn't it?

Absolutely wonderful. Nice to know that things like that do go on in the world and not just in the movies.

my husband and I do that..and it's so funny when our kids see us smooching..my little boy will say"oh yeah" and my teen daughter goes"oh yuck you two" but then I tell her that she should really be thankful that her parents are so in love because not all families are so blessed. yep..we dance together too and he'll walk up and hug me while I'm doing dishes.so romantic.:0)
