What a neat collection. Everytime I see an old iron, I am
tempted to buy it. You are making resisting this temptation
much more difficult!

Grace, for heaven sakes that is a lot of irons! I only took one when you were busy elsewhere. That is some collection. Where do you keep them? You don't collect ironing boards too do you? Ok just looked at your blog and I see you keep them in your laundry room good idea. I really should have taken one of the iron trivets for placing the iron on, I don't have one. I must go and look for one of those.

My goodness, I have never seen so many irons in one room! Nice collection. Do you have any original irons, the ones that they'd put over fire? How long have you been collecting irons? Just curious.

Ironing boarder hoarder...lol. Beautiful collection. My hubby would be happy to see me collect irons instead of horses...lol. I really don't hoard or collect them though, most are for business, but with 16 horses, 9 mine and the rest belonging to 2 of my daughters it is usually comfort to other husbands whose wives have a couple...lol. I joke that I consider it part of my ministry. I love your old vintage stuff, how fun. And as I always say it's not about the numbers its about if they are clean and well taken care of. Those irons look well loved to me!

WOW! Cool collection. I have one vintage one I use as a door stop for my laundry room door. Your post made me chuckle...

Wowsers! That is a lot of irons. What a great collection. Now, next time collect feathers, or something light! :)

And also, do you have some deep seated desire to wash and iron? :)
