Cute ornaments, Heather! :)

Linda, sounds like a fun project!! :)

A few weeks ago my daughter and I were thrifting. I found flannel rag quilt squares already quilted…so of course, I bought them!! I sew them into strips and added a border using some yellow flannel from my daughter’s stash. Here is the finished quilt! :) I love how it turns out!

I love the flannel quilt. I've put it on my quilting "bucket list."

This is a semi panoramic picture of my new, improved sewing room. A desk for writing letters, a cabinet for chocolate and quilting books, neatly organized closet, my latest quilt, a new project, scrapbook supplies and a twin bed to toss stuff on.

These are the final friendship quilt blocks! The fabric is a busy blue paisley, which made it hard to coordinate with other prints.

Very pretty, Vanessa! You did well on coordinating the fabrics. Busy fabrics are difficult to coordinate, but look so pretty!

Very nice blocks, Vanessa.

I finished a Psalms quilt top that I am making for our granddaughter. I will take it with us when we go on our trip in September. The kit had 8 printed psalms from a panel and some nice coordinated fabrics for the blocks. It was not a hard pattern and when I get it back I will add the binding and it will be done.

I took it to my longarm quilter yesterday and get it back on Thursday. I will take a picture and post it then.

Farmgirl hugs,
Linda

Since I'm one of the few quilters in our club who hand quilts, our club president asked if I'd be interested in an oval quilting hoop and I said sure. Unlike my other hoop that can stand on its own, this one is held down by a chair leg.
I don't have any projects right now that need it, but one will come up.

These busy summer months have really slowed me down on my crochet, but I finally finished my next corner to corner. Only 6 more left.
