One year I planted peas to climb up the barb wire fence thinking the electric fence would keep them safe from the cows. I was SO wrong!!!

Ha ha that's funny! But I am honestly not surprised either. Mine are going to love summer when I go out and pick some veggies. I already promised to share.

Aww the cutest babies! Seems like the boys are still running strong at your farm. I am glad you got 2 girls though.

Oh Heather, your new farm babies are so darn cute!!! I love those pink noses on the black and white calves. I just want to pet them on the head and enjoy their beauty. I hope all the new arrivals are doing well and thriving.

They're doing great! We had another heifer :)
Baby Darma is just as curious as her mama Darla.
Now there's about a month until the next cow is due to have her baby. I'm glad I have some girls to love on until then!

Today the 3 little kittens were dropped off at the vets for their operations and vaccines. Their mom, a loose-legged kitty who lives on a neighbors farm, brought them to our home in the spring and left them for us to care for. I've gotten them used to us and two are real cuddle bugs. Hoping to have them basement cats in the winter. The exchange students named them Feli, Karl and Igor.

Aww Vanessa, how cute! I hope their operations and vaccines go well and they recover quickly. I bet the exchange students loved helping name the cats. They choose some fun names.
