                      | We had so many flowers and trees at the old place. I miss Spring the most. The apple tree and blackberry blossoms and so many daffodils and wildflowers. I hope to find a place like that again someday just in a different state. Maybe we will find it here.

                      | Spring is in bloom in northern Kentucky! My cherry trees are blooming and the white lilac has buds. Wild daffodils are yellow splashes in fields. http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Snitz/Images/2024/03/20240322_074206.jpg?

v=29428063 The grass is soft and lush, I'd like to run barefoot but it's still chilly and there's a risk of doggie landmines.

                      | I can't wait for barefoot weather Vanessa! My lilacs have buds too. We had some bushes here when we moved in and we planted one. Will see if it gives us any blooms this year. The daffodils are still going strong and the hyacinth as well. The tulips all have buds if we can keep the bunnies away. We had forsythia and honeysuckle in abundance at the old house. might have to see if I can plant those here somewhere. Maybe by the deck! Or over the pergola on the deck for the honeysuckle.

                      | The fruitless pear trees have budded and now are leafed out so have the red bud trees. I don't have either, but I get to enjoy my neighbors'. My big oak is putting out the mossy looking strands, that remind me of wooly caterpillars, that foretell how many acorns we will have in the fall.

                      | All of your blooming spring looks wonderful. This has been our first week of warmer weather and all I have that's showing spring in the tiny pieces of my lilies poking through the ground. I am so ready for color!

                      | This reminds me of a poem I once read:
Twas midnight on the back porch
 Two lips were tightly pressed.
The old man gave a signal
And the bulldog did the rest.

                      | Heather…you are not nice!! lol!! I have 4 indoor kitties, 1 indoor/outdoor “feral” kitty (he is a love), his 4 siblings and mom living in the backyard!! I keep telling John we’d best not see any signs of mice or snakes in my yard this summer….one of the siblings was too elusive to be trapped…and of course it’s a female. I have a spay date for her. Fingers crossed that we will be able to catch her.

                      | Dianna, those are beautiful ! Karen , I've always had a feral to feed for the last 36 years.
I have just 2 cats now.
At one time counting , indoor, outdoor and feral, I had 16!
I love cats. We have never had mice or snakes, we live on 3 acres of woods.

                      | LOL! I hope you catch her. We seem to be the nieghborhood drop off point. I stopped counting at 20 - I didn't want to know the total. All of mine are outside though.
Here's what happens when I want to take a picture of my flowers:

                      | Oh Heather a bouquet of kitties! Sweet! Our tulips are budding! Daffodils are still hanging in there with hyacinth. My magnolia has not budded yet but my little lilac bush has so I'm hoping for some blooms this year.
