Heather , your quick UFO is totally cute and would make anyone happy to have one for a magnet to put on a fridge or other surface!

I finished a UFO a few days ago.

It is a cross-stitched bookmark which I stitched on Aida cloth and sewed it onto some felt at the cutting line of the original pattern. In the pattern it was supposed to be stitched on perforated paper. I forgot to add a ribbon on the top. Oh well.

Well, I will try again. My first post disappeared.

I’m finally posting some of my UFOs:
I have been recycling skirts that were too short or too long: to 2 denim mini skirts I added eyelet to 1 and a flounce to the other; to annolder akirt of mine that was too long I ahortened it by 8-1/2”z

I have a couple more skirts to alter and several denim shirts to embellish with laces, eyelets, and doilies. I hope they turn our like I am thinking they will.

I put together the blocks from a swap in my quilting group. They are selvage stars blocks - I provided the pattern and selvage strips and they provided the piece of backing fabric. I have 3 more to put on the back.

I sewed the borders on my 2 blue trees tablerunners.

I also finished the book bag for the Ghost Who Was a Quilt book and quilt for our grandson.

I have ordered the new Christmas Ghost who … book - it will not available for a couple months yet.

Farmgirl hugs,

Wow! Linda, you've been busy.

Marie, lovely cross stitch..

Nancy, we will be waiting and watching for your photos..

UFO's, are best completed with a cup of tea (or wine) and a good friend.. and if a friend is not available, a cat or dog to get under foot works well too!

I have finished another UFO.

I had made this pillow originally with a handmade pillow insert stuffed with feathers. That did not turn out well. I got rid of the pillow insert and feathers, trimmed the crewel design, sewed onto some black backing fabric and finished the pillow. I like this one better.

This is a picture of the finished quilt from the BOM club I am doing. I am really behind on the blocks.

Marie, your pillow and quilt are beautiful! I love how the colors pop on the black background.
