I'm still working on the QOV for my husband's uncle! It will be finished soon. Also, still cleaning and organizing my craft room, and have only found a couple of this to add to the list of UFOs! I think that someday I will be finished with all of them! I had hoped for this year, but since the list has grown a bit, I think that the goal has to be extended to next summer?! Oh, dear! But, how does the saying go?. . .One Bite At A Time!

Nancy, I know that feeling. Those lists always seem to keep growing. But I agree one step at a time!

Here is the Psalms quilt I am making for our granddaughter. We will be taking it to her when we go on our vacation in September. She is a missionary.

This quilt top is a Christmas quilt using different colors than usual; it is made with a jelly roll and a layer cake of the same moda fabrics.

I just got this wallhanging back from the Longarm Quilter. We purchased the panel on one of the islands in the Caribbean, and I had the boutique squares to put around the edge that coordinated perfectly. I still need to hand sew the binding.

This Quilt is at my Longarm Quilter‘s house now. It is a free Bonnie Hunter pattern called Bricks and Stones. I chose black and white prints for the 4-patch stones and dug into all my floral prints for the bricks. I found the bug print fabric in my stash for the border.

Thank you for the nice comments. I enjoy playing with fabric.

If I post any qilts or other items that you like and may be interested in purchasing, please contact me and maybe we can come to an agreement. My storage for quilts is getting too limited. LOL!

Ok, slow but finally done!

I can’t believe it took me several weeks (versus several hours) to complete the apron.…
But it’s finally done, as is the lampshade and the hobo bag.
The apron is made from a man’s shirt with the red wine glasses and grapes design, Fortunately, I had enough leftover red fabric from another project to make the sash and pocket background.

As for the lampshade, I started it right after I finished the other lampshade that I did with the little mini twinkle lights on it, by the time I cut up hundreds of one by 3 inch strips, and started tying them, which was quite boring… I finally finished it the other day. Now that it’s autumn, I may hang it out under the patio over a hanging light bulb… I have to make sure the lightbulb is not more than 25 W and is a cool bulb not a hot bulb.

The hobo bag was a kit that I found at the thrift store for $1.99, it had the pattern, the fabric and the handles. It’s actually quite easy, cut a square 27“ x 27“ then add a couple of plates and a flap. So that handbag is a paisley print on the outside and a black and brown leopard print on the inside it’s actually quite cute though I had a tuff time trying to photograph it.

Now that my UFOs are finished… I have one more that I just started. Hopefully it won’t be a UFO and that is the court pumpkin… I glued the corks together now all I need is some orange paint to paint the edge, and some silk leaves to glue on top before I put the little stem on it. That’s when it becomes a UFO, me remembering to go to the store and buy paint and soak leaves. Lol.

Sorry about the photo placement.. having issues with either my eyes or my cell phone.., and ignore grammar, I am using voice recognition…

Karen - love the Christmas book!

Grace - great projects! If I hadn't read your description I would have thought that was a Christmas apron lol!
