Denise, I will add my prayers with others for your Dad. It is hard to insist with a parent about certain issues.

Praying for your Dad Denise. It's so hard waiting for appointments.

Please add my brother-law to you prayer list. Mike is my sister's husband. She still has appointments for her breast cancer and now they have found out that Mike's kidney cancer is back and is inoperable. The kidney was already remove a couple of years ago, but there is a tumor growing in that area. Definitely cancer. They are waiting to find out if the cancer has traveled. Hopefully not. Looks like he will be going through chemo.

Praying for your sister and brother in law Brenda.

Dad seemed to have gotten a good nights rest. Did not hear any coughing until late afternoon today and it seemed to sound a bit better. I appreciate your continued prayers for him. He is having trouble with his hip today. Not the one he had surgery on. Think he may have been in a bad position last night but he has a chiropractor appt. Thursday so hopefully that will help him. He keeps telling me not to get old.

Brenda, I am sorry to hear about your family. Prayers sent.
Denise I will continue to pray for your family. Glad your dads cough may be getting better.
Please pray for Baylee, my nineteen year old grand daughter. She is so frustrated due to glitches in the college registration process. They say the third time is the charm. Tomorrow will be her third attempt. Yesterday the system went down after she learned they had not yet posted her payment, so there was a hold on her application. They removed the hold this morning, and sent her an incomplete link to register for the pharmacology class. Tomorrow the head of the department may be in her office and can perhaps help her. Classes begin Monday. She is a grouchy nervous, crying wreck. I suggested prayer and that it looks bad today but it will work out. I love her so much, but I can't fix it.

We are uplifting each of these prayer requests!!!!

Denise - so glad that our dad had a good night of sleep!

Brenda - how heartbreaking! Definitely praying that God performs a miracle in their lives... and that He gives them His unending and unexplainable love and peace during this hard time! Also praying for you as you deal with this as well!!!

Marilyn - Praying that things work out for Baylee!!! How frustrating for her and for you!

I have two prayer requests myself. Some time ago I asked for prayers for my cousin's nephew Blake. His little heart is failing. He has been in CCU on a vent for the last week... heart cath is going on right now to try to figure out what is going on. He is only 10.5 months old!!! The other one is for us, financially. The military has still not paid us Brad's last active duty paycheck, and until that gets figured out, we will not get his retirement check either. Our accounts are almost completely drained as we are living off of them until his pay starts coming in. We just took a loan from his mom :( But God will provide! Trusting Him to see us through this!

My sister is a Cath lab tech. She used to set up and assist with the babies at Medical City in Dallas. I am glad he has the stent so his blood can flow better. Prayers for this sweet baby.

It is 11 here... and hubby is in the ER with a neighbor. He was having severe abdominal pain... 10 out of 10! The poor man hurt so bad, he was sick! Thankfully the neighbor was willing to drive him the 45 minutes to the hospital so I didn't have to take all the kids in, but now I'm sitting and waiting. They are running tests on him... they are thinking either esophageal issues or really bad indigestion. I'm guessing an ulcer, kidney stone or appendicitis. Hopefully we will know something soon! But as always, your prayers are appreciated! Sitting at home waiting stinks! But I can't seem to go to sleep!

Hubby just called. Now they are saying they think it is his gall bladder. But they don't have the stuff to do an ultrasound, so we have to set it up with his PCM... but he should be home in an hour or two.

Sending prayers. Hard to think an ER doesn't have ultrasound equipment. Hope he feels better soon.

With it being rural hospital, I had the mindset that they would be higher quality, since nothing else is wrong. Boy was I wrong! It isn't so much that they don't have the equipment... but no staff to run the equipment in the hospital. Did that make sense? The ER does not have the US equipment (or x-ray!!!!), but it is in the hospital... but no staff to run it except during the day! He is at the hospital now waiting for an ultrasound

I'm surprised they did not keep him until morning so he didn't have to travel there again.

Brad has gall stones... they want to remove his gall bladder. We are going to try a flush this weekend and see if it helps/works. They have given him a narcotic and nausea medicine at this point.

Blake is not doing well... got a blood transfusion this morning, is having seizures, eyes are swollen shut, temp is back up, and vent settings are back up.

Seems this stuff is going to hang on. Dad is still trying to shake it. JT and I were both up last night coughing, keeping each other awake. He had to get up early to head out to a job 3 hrs away. I'm sure he didn't feel up to it. I am just settled in with hot tea and movies. Keeping on top of it with dad. Thanks for prayers.
