I love Jeanne Robertson - my favorite is when she sent her husband to the grocery store.

Prayers for you, Denise, that your neck and headache heals very soon. My mother used Blue Emu cream, in fact, I have some here that I sometimes use.

Why is getting dr appts scheduled so hard? Last thurs the dermatologist said they’d send report to radiology and they’d call to schedule me for my nose. They didn’t in a week so I called dr office. they called radiology and called me back. Said they’d call in a day or two. I told them this needed to get started before our cruise. Heaven only knows when they will call.

Darlene praying for you to feel well.

I went to the chiropractor and I use Arnica cream. It works better for me than Biofreeze which is what the chiropractor always recommends. A bottle lasts a very long time. The one I'm using now is one I got for my dad a few years ago and he used it often. I use it a lot too and I still have half a bottle. It is a pump bottle so it is measured out pretty much. Good stuff. I do use the biofreeze when it is a sinus issue as the menthol helps to clear that up as well.

Darlene -

I hope you get some relief soon; I know how that can be. Before my hip replacement, there were days I couldn't walk very far at all without having to stop and sit down for a bit. Praying for relief for your pain to come quickly. DO you know what is causing the nausea?

The Blue Emu cream is for muscle aches and pain; my mother used it and so have I. I haven't tried the oils, but I'm sure it works the same.

Well a combination of no antibiotics when they pulled 2 of my teeth for my leg, the lesions that were in my mouth the next day and possibly flu
I have been icky! My nurse friend has been helping trying to get hold of my doctor and stuff that hasn’t been easy.. if I don’t hold my foot and toes righ the pain goes right up the leg. I over did this morning. The first knee replacement wasn’t this bad al the doctors were here, not 4 hours away and where the fires are starting again.
Aw how simple that was.
Excuse me, I love you al! I hurt! Thank you for your prayers.

Prayers are needed for my sweet granddaughter Baylee. There is a math test they must pass, in fact they must make 100 on it. She took it today and missed one question. Tomorrow after class she must take it again. It will not be the same test! But she must make 100 in order to finish her last semester. Please pray for her. Yesterday the crazy lady gave them a test that she made up, Baylee told me that she and several others cried, because the crazy lady would not be quiet, refused to let them use the calculators that the office had loaned them...with the Dean of Nursing's approval. Thankfully the Dean of nursing threw that test out. I'm so afraid she will flare over this, and the rheumatologist was so proud of her last Thursday! Please pray, and pray and pray. Thank you.

I saw on Facebook that Darlene's daughter posted that her mother was in surgery at about 6:12 PM today to drain her knee. That it would take 2 hours or so. Here is her daughter's update post on FB:

Update: 8:30
She's out of surgery, just got out.
Vitals are good, she's super groggy, in pain but will get meds for that. They took out her old knee replacement hardware because it was infected and washed it her knee area out. I will be calling tomorrow morning for the next update.

Prayers for Darlene and Baylee. Poor Darlene has really had a rough time with her knee and other illnesses. Baylee is going to be a good nurse and hopefully the Dean is going to figure out a better way to test for math related medication skills. During a time when I was a Nurse Educator, I had to prepare new nursing employees for the mandatory medication test. Because pharmacies send everything up in single doses and all the calculations are done in the pharmacy, many older nurses and even young ones couldn't do the math the old way. I always had an Intensive review session with my new employees before they took the exam so that I could help refresh their memories and provide problems to work out and review the answers together. It really made a difference because if you cannot pass the med test your employee not is revoked as you are deemed unsafe.
