Prayers for Lily June - that things get better for her in her classroom. I feel sorry for all the younger school kids who have not been able to interact with their friends for the past year. There has been so many students experiencing depression this past year, and adults, too. None of us are used to these pandemic restrictions.

And prayers for Darlene's daughter's boss and his family.

Prayers to any who need them.

Thanks ya'll and prayers Darlene for your daughters boss. I have all of ya'll on my morning devotional card, prayers daily!
Oh Marilyn , how heart breaking for little Had.

What makes it worse for Lily june, Holly cant walk her to the door even, Parents aren't allowed in the school. They have to drop them off and a staff member walks them to the door. Parents can call the office or text the teacher.

Julie! What great news for your grands school!!

Connie that is so hard for them. My grandkids ride the bus so are used to going in themselves.

I don't have a prayer request other than for our move but I have a praise. Since last Dec. I have had some things going on and have had to see a heart doctor. She did some tests and everything is fine thankfully. I just found that out today. The problems I have had are from stress and anxiety. Anxiety seems to be hereditary in my family. My father and sister dealt with it and both my daughters deal with it. My sister also had panic attacks and I've had a few of those myself in the past. I am giving praise for being able to find where the trouble stems from.
I know that many people deal with this and
I am looking into ways of dealing with it. I'm just sharing here not looking for advice. I am so grateful for each of you and this group that I can come and share.

Connie, if Lily June were my child, I'm thinking I would not take her there again. If a mother cannot walk a five year old into the school...how can you trust them. No, no, no! Red flags! How does a mother get to know the teacher? I'm sorry, but parents are a very important part of the school experience. I've been a teacher & a director of a preschool...something is so wrong with that school! Is it a public school or a church school or a charter school?

Connie, please show this to Holly. She and Lily June have rights! Schools try to make parents believe they will get in trouble if their child is not in school. In Texas it used to be bad!
We had parents who got upset and began pulling kids out. Now there are private schools galore.

Denise, I am so glad that you got good news from the heart doctor. I would imagine just knowing that all is well is a great relief. My mom has dealt with anxiety for YEARS. But thankfully, after all this time, she is now learning how to deal with it. She found a great heart doctor who also deals with the same issues and he had wonderful tips for her on how to deal with hers, as well. I will keep you in my prayers....I know that you are going to do great and things will heal with time.

Asking prayer for JT and myself. The kids pack up the truck Thursday and leave Friday. It has already been a rough Sunday and Monday. Thanks.

Denise, I know you are grieving. Perhaps you vould think of them, as if they are on an extended vacation. Every time our bunch has left for Wisconsin or Montana or Wyoming I have felt loneliness until I think to myself...wow, God has given me a gift called time...to clean house, do some yard work, or just play by myself.

(((Hugs))) Denise. Change can be so difficult.

I am celebrating. Last year I was diagnosed with diabetes and an A1C of 11.7. I had lab work done last week and my A1C is now 6. I guess all that self denial paid off. Also lost 20 pounds in the process.

Denise, Now you have time for other's. And you could go to the post office and get a box for each grandchild. Be sure they are Color book size. When you are. at home again, write each child's name on a flap...now think of things you can send to them. Hot wheels are 94 cents at Walmart. I started Jaspers collection.yesterday. Kids love sprinkles to decorate cakes and cookies. So a bag of cookie mix, sprinkles and a cutter or two. Some lemonade mix would be good in Florida.
. How about a nice bubble wand and some bubbles.
You see when you are planning or doing for others...it really lifts your spirits.
And while at the post office get some priority bags...you may be able to save some money by sending a bag...rather than a box. Also plan how often you will send a surprise to the kids.
