Asking for prayers for my former neighbors 5 year old daughter, Brenda Michelle Juarez. She has Cystic Fibrosis and on Thursday her CF doctor had her put in Dallas Children's hospital because she tested positive for a previous version of the Corona Virus. Her CF is making the virus a lot harder on her little body. I'm not sure if she can get cards, but I will check and get back to you if you'd like to send one. She just started Kindergarten and I'm guessing that is where she got the virus. She is a darling little girl and all last and this year they've been so careful because of her CF. Thanks!!

I have found out a bit more info:
Brenda went to her CF doctor for her regular check up, and because of COVID they automatically did a throat swab. The swab showed to be positive, and because of her DF, the doctor said it was best to admit her to the hospital. She does not have COVID-19; it is a different earlier coronavirus, so it is not as severe as it could be, which is good news. Her only sign is that her mucus issue has become very severe and they dont want that to progress. Her mother and 2 month old brother are staying in the hospital room with Brenda, because she is too young to be left alone at the hospital and because her mother is breastfeeding her little brother. Since they have both been exposed, they will only be tested if they show any symptoms. They have a room for Brenda with a sofa bed. Her father has to be tested before he can return to work.

Brenda cannot receive cards at the hospital due to COVID, but her mother said she knows she would love to get them at home. She will probably be in the hospital 1-2 weeks. If you would like to send a card, her home address is: Brenda Juarez, 4661 CR 3411, Lone Oak, TX 75453. Thanks for your prayers.

Will continue to keep her in prayer.
JT's mom was planning to go home tomorrow. His sister came to get her. She will be staying till Tuesday due to the fact she took a fall out on the deck this afternoon. She and JT were out there and for some reason she went to come in the house and forgot she had a step down and landed on her arm. She dislocated her shoulder so JT, his sister, and nephew went to the ER after the paramedics came and took her. They were able to get it back to rights and she has it in a sling. Praying she sleeps through the night and doesn't have to get up in the night. His sister and nephew are at a hotel. She did well her whole visit and on the last day has this happen.

Linda, adding my prayers for Brenda's healing. With her condition she has it extra hard.

Denise, I hope JT's Mom will heal and get to feeling better soon. She took an awful hard tumble and a dislocated shoulder is terribly painful.

Thanks everyone. She is doing well. Slept through the night. Doesn't have a lot of pain but has an awful looking bruise on her her arm/shoulder.
