Just a quick update on Brenda, my former neighbor's daughter:
She is still in Dallas Children's Hospital. She has breathing treatments 4x a day, and has started on a new antibiotic 3x a day to fight off 3 viruses: Coronavirus (not COVID-19), MRSA, and MSSA. Her mother posted that she was "kicking all three viruses butts" and keeping the breathing specialists entertained with her attitude. She will be in the hospital for another 3-8 days.
Prayers needed for the husband and family of a friend who just passed away yesterday morning from COVID. According to another friend of mine, she had a cough for a couple weeks and Sunday felt very bad and they called 911 for an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Tuesday afternoon she face-timed with 2 friends and told them she was feeling great and that she would probably go home in 2-3 days; Wednesday morning she passed away. This is not a virus to treat lightly; it is so sad. Her name was Courtenay. |

Linda, I'm so sorry about your friend.
Did her heart fail? Did her blood clot?
Anyway may her husband and family feel the presence of God and his love for them.

Tomorrow is my Pre-Op in Redding, prayers for the rides back and forth because of road closures and delays. We are leaving at 5:15 am to be up to one of the delays which the first one is 7:15 and the guided drive through takes about a half an hour. Pray for my friend Becky who is driving.
