Smile. Sweet memories. My celebration tonight is that the baby calf was hungry and drank every drop of his milk. Tuesday night he ran from me so I poured the milk in a bucket for him. Wednesday night, same thing...It took us both to convince him to suck. Last night and tonight he was bellaring and starving. Or so he thought. I guess he gave up on Hadlee. She is his feeder person.

I know. We all miss Hadlee and her family. I am ready for them to get out of Wisconsin. So we can talk to them. There is no phone reception where they are.

It's Book Lovers Day! As if we need an excuse to read a book! Lol! But if you do there's a special day for it.

I wish I could be at rest today. My back is spazing like crazy. I rubbed some muscle rub on, took allege and finally put the tenns unit on. It is my fault for moving, scooting, furniture around yesterday as I was cleaning house. I had plans to use my ladder today, but that must wait a couple of days. I still have a lot of papers and supplies to sort through and that will keep me more than busy.

As the day vanished, my back eased up a bit. I will wear the tenns a few days or a week. It should be better. It usually is. Baylee sent a few pictures from Montana...and we were able to talk to Wade. That made my day.

I bet the pictures were pretty. The pastor's wife here in Loleta went with her daughter to help her move to Florida and they have gone all over the place, and they stopped at the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico and showed some beautiful pictures of it underground. How beautiful. Nice way to see things you may not ever go to.

Take care!

Marilyn,
Do take care of your back. I have a tens unit I got from the chiropractor but rarely use it. I just don't think of it.

We live in such a beautiful country. I would love to be able to travel it someday.

Sometimes I forget to put it on, but the pain begins and I remember.
When I was a kid, less than 10, we went to Carlsbad Cavarens and the Long Horn Cavarens. My daddy loved such things...me...not so much. I do not enjoy being underground.

Happy Vinyl records Day to you too Sherry. I have a whole lot of them up stairs and have a player. I should get them out and listen to them some day.

Hi Marilyn and Denise and all, I got to go in some Caverns in Cave Junction Oregon once that was neat to see all the stalagtites and stalagmites and other growths under ground but the steep ladder was steep. I couldn't do that now. Someone told me that was all changed now. It was beautiful though.

Good memories.

Aw I missed happy vinyl day! I still have quite a few and play them regularly.

Today is international left handers day! My grandma used to call me and my brother her southpaws. We were the only two in the family who are lefthanded. She had 9 children and numerous grandchildren. Apparently we were the only ones.

My son is a lefty. Actually he is mixed. He writes with his left hand...and most everything else he does with right, or either and both. In high school he was a perfect free throw shooter in basket ball games, right handed. I am mixed also, but usually write with my right hand. When I broke my right elbow (something I do not recommend) it took two weeks to learn to write as a lefty.

This is a good day too, I sometimes use both hands as well, I don't write as well with my left hand but do use it in many things, it isn't my stronger hand though.
Cute! Happy left hander's day!

Connie, I used to watch her every week too! She taught a lot of us some of the basics of good cooking while making it look so very easy.

Happy Roller Coaster day to every one! Sadly, I cannot celebrate in style - no roller coaster for miles around! I wonder if theme parks celebrate that day?
