Oh Carole I haven't heard anyone use the word putzing since I got married and left NY. Thanks for bringing that back to mind.

Brenda, let me guess, your dh is also on the committee "Save the Adverb" LOL Yea, I can see how it would drive him crazy. Some people around here say "there you be" - it just sounds so strange! Ok, it drives me nuts too! lol

Today March 28 is:

Something on a stick day - I guess Pogo, Popsicle, etc. would qualify
Weed Appreciation day - Well, in way Northeastern NY, I presently have no weeds to appreciate! You southern folks can celebrate that one!
Black forest Cake Day - Yummy

Have fun celebrating! Cheers!

Yes, Carole there are several weeds in my front yard I celebrate every time I see them. I wish they would cover my front lawn like a meadow. There's the single stem weed with a tiny yellow daisy like flower. It wasn't here last year and neither were the wild purple hyacinths. Returning wild violets in front and back yards. Can't forget the pink, orange, white, and brown toad stools that spout up all over even in my containers.

Happy Birthday Darlene!!!

High Five Day - my three year old triplets great-grand niece and nephews know how to give high fives. It's replaced the wave Aunt Sara goodbye - now I get to slap their little hands. Gotta keep up with the times.

I am celebrating silence day today. With tea of course. The kiddos left to go home this morning. I will miss them terribly, we had a great week. Busy, noisy and all. Sometimes the silence makes it worse when they go but I have so many things to catch up on, laundry and such and I also have to clean out the chicks little box. They are so cute with their little bitty feathers.

I guess I had Kindergarten day...and did not know it. Little ones are just noisy for sure Shannon. We want them to talk and encourage, coax, etc. We are so excited when they begin, then the flood comes and the faucet won't turn it off.
Maybe chocolate would perk me up.
