Hi Girls!
I have a wonderful update for you! Tammy, Lisa's sister emailed this morning:
"This is Tammy;
Just wanted you to know that Lisa has woken up but has a problem with memory loss..So the worst is over and the long road begins."
It's a start! YES!!!
That's all the information I have right now, but I did give Tammy the link to this forum so she could read all the wonderful messages posted to Lisa and show her the pictures to maybe help her memory along. :)
I also asked Tammy to please keep me posted so I could keep you all informed. I promise as soon as I hear anything else, I will let you all know!
There is just nothing like the heart of a farmgirl - you all are just so wonderful! Blessings to all of you! Thank you for your cards and prayers! God is listening! YAY!

Oh halauja! A wonderful praise report!! I will continue to pray. We can all pray her road to recovery ISN'T long. God created us, he put us together. He said ask in Jesus name, and BELIEVE it will be done. Mjf prayer warriors, are praying together. She has come out of her coma! God answers prayers!! My prayer will be that she is out of the hospital, whole, and with her family in no time.
The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

I have read that after a major trauma like the accident, you can have memory loss. But that can be temporary as the body continues to heal itself. The good news is coming out of the coma. Sometimes we don't believe that miracles can and do happen every day. This is another example right before us about the power of prayer and that miracles do happen every day around us.

This is incredible news! who was it that said "More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams possible." Memory can be a tricky thing, sometimes it comes back in fits and spurts. My SIL's brother had a head injury, was in a coma, and he had both physical and speech therapy that has helped him a great deal. thank you,God!
