Hi, Farm Sisters! Just received four more postcards! This is such a bright spot in my summer..never mind the rain..family health issues have taken front and center.
So, I loved the recipe for Shoo-fly Pie from Jenne.f in Wagontown, PA! Makes me want to make it again! So yummy!
RoDonna, thank you for the picture of an historic home in Shelbyville. We zoomed through Frankfort, KY once on our way to somewhere else. Loved that part of the country.
Diana P- That sunset over McGown Peak is absolutely gorgeous!
Kristi-Well, "I've never been to Memphis"..reminds me of the song!
What a beautiful postcard of the sites! How exciting! Hope to visit there this year.

I have received so many post cards over the last few weeks. They have brightened my days as I struggle with the phone company over our land line not being in service. NO land line no internet. Need less to say the situation has been more than frustrating.

On the road again.......
I got 2 postcards today!
1. Robin M. of Arizona and she sent me a vintage postcard which I love.
2. From Cecily of Corydon, Indiana. Love to see postcards of my home state. Brings Back a lot of memories.

Karla,
Sunken Gardens is in Tampa. The picture was one of 12 that I took that day. The display case was so large and my camera so small that it took that many pictures to get the entire display.

I got a card from Robin, It is like a black and white farm girl card with 3 ladies on the front and a very colorful chicken in front of them.

Darlene,
Shaina is doing well. She went to school full time for the last two weeks but did not go on the field trips.
She rode her bike in the fourth of July parade and the crowd cheered.
Her sister who was her bone marrow donor goes off to college in Western New York state this fall.
