What do you see?

hmmm... how about if I remove the door...

hmmm maybe 2 or 3 ....

cutting boards....

I plan to cut this cabinet door down into either 2 medium sized or 3 small sized cutting boards... using a router to round off the edges,,, sand both the top and underside... and then use a vegetable or food grade oil to seal the board...
Hubby came up with a cute idea to use my wood burning tool to burn in a Oak leaf shape off in one corner....
I won't be able to work on this until next week,,, but soon as it is completed... I will post photos..
Never toss out fabulous wood... and we got lots of scrap wood from this bedside cabinet that we were going to toss out..

Grace...How about a Lap desk (with the grooved piece of wood?)
I know when I sit in my recliner at night watching TV I like to play computer
games on my Tablet, Or write letters or Color or make out Holiday Cards etc. The board would nicely lay across the arms of the Chair and that looks like a perfect place to hold colored pencils, pens, etc in the groove.
What do you think????

Peggy

You're so creative Grace. Can't wait to see the pics of your cutting boards. I was thinking of a desktop for the grooved piece too.
