Hi Girls,

My in-laws are flying in today from Denmark. We spoke to them last night before we went to bed. They were at the airport having breakfast (at 3 AM their time) before boarding their flight in the hour. Then this morning we woke up to the horrible news about Brussels and the airport. Sometimes my in-laws' flight does stop there. We had to double check online to make sure that was not their stop! Thank the Lord, they stopped in Amsterdam, only about 100 miles away. They are in-flight now. My poor hubby is also driving to New Jersey from Connecticut to Newark to pick them up.

I have been away from the forum a few weeks because my poor dd and dh both have had some flu thing, so things have been a bit hectic. Everytime dd went back to school I had to go pick her up. She is okay now, but my hubby got a relapse and got very sick Sunday. I had to rush him to the emergency, and he had bronchitis. So, he is on an antibiotic. He is starting to feel better, but this morning really stressed him out and he started to wheeze again.

So...if ya can today, please include a little prayer that my in-laws arrive safely, that my dear husband feels better, and we get everyone here tonight safe and sound.

Love you farmgirls!
Nicole

Sometimes it seems that whatever it is we are doing as the human race, we might need to go in a different direction. Thinking of your in-laws now, and all the families touched by this awful hateful act.

I was so sad to read the news yet again this morning... it must be scary for your in-laws to fly today. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

Oh, Nicole, I am saying a prayer for you, your daughter, your in-laws, and DH! Such a a merry-go-round you have been on! Certainly hope it settles down for all of you!

My best friend and her ds are supposed to fly to the Netherlands today for a couple of days. Then on to Rome and Venice. We'll see.

Nicole, I am putting you and your family in my prayers, to get rid of the flu bug and that safe travel all around.
Enjoy your family and take care.

Blessings

They are here! Hooray! My dh picked them up, and they are home now! My mother in law was stopped by a news reporter asking her thoughts about flying from Europe today...she didn't know about the tragedy! Their pilot chose not to tell them since they had just taken off. All is good.

Thank you for the prayers. Now to get my hubby well! :)

Nicole

Hi Everyone,

My in-laws had a wonderful time. It was so nice to spend quality time with them. It is getting so hard for them to fly so far. They got home without incident, thankfully, and my hubby is back to feeling fine!

Thanks to you all.

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole
