Ok, just watched an episode of Sewing with Nancy,
How cute is this for next Christmas, after all, December is only 11 months away!!!
A cute advent calendar using buttons…
The fuzzy side of the loop tape (Velcro) is attached to the tree and the bristly loop side is added to the back side of the button… you can glue the loop side onto the button and then using cross stitch floss sew through the button to tie on the front side.
