Beautiful flowers. Not in Texas. We have been 100 degrees or more since June began . . .today was 111 or 112. Almost Everything looks as if it will die. There was a huge fire about 20 miles from us. Seems like it started on Su,day or Monday. In fact there were 3 fires, but one was near Possom Kingdom lake. That is north of us.
That is my reason for being awake at 2:15...am...I smelled grass burning. Maybe it's part of my nightmare. I have looked out, and there is no fire that I can see.
So if you have flowers enjoy them. Thank God for them.
Most of all i hope your hot Temps do not last nearly as long as ours and I hope you get some blessing rains.
When I got up my hubby asked me what I was doing. Turns out he had been up since 2am, because the a/c was not cooling...no the a/c was fine...but it was 91°outside. |
